I read in an article from a lawyer in California who said "For the self-employed, or those with rental income there is nice out. If 51% of your income is "Business" income you can take a pass on the means test. Is this true??? Thanks

I am attempting a debt settlement with my Wells Fargo Financial Bank credit card. The balance is $7000. It is currently 40 days late. I answered a call today from their representative who was of course trying to get some kind of payment. He told me that they were beginning the process of income verification and that unless I paid $216 by August 10th that it would be turned over to the legal department for a lawsuit. He said that the balance was well over the amount to file a garnishment on in my state.

Hi, I currently have 4 online payday loans: Loan Shop 250 borrowed 75 paid UsFastCash 400 borrorowed 120 paid One click Cash 450 borrowed 725 paid The Cash Spot 600 borrowed 450 paid I have previously taken out loans with each of these companies and repaid in full. I can't however continue to make these current payments without falling completely behind on other bills. I am more than willing to pay them all what I owe, but can't do so twice a month and at such high interest. Should I contact them and try to work out monthly payment arrangements or will they not accept my offer?

If I answer their calls (they only have my cell phone and work phone numbers) on my cell phone, and engage in conversations with them ( i have 3 PDL's that I just can't pay back, got caught in the cycle, but I expect at some point to pay them back) are they more apt to just keep talking to me, and contacting me on my cell, or will they still call my work. I'm a boss of 60 people, and they answer the phones. It would be very embarrassing to me if my employees found out about my debts. That is the only thing I fear from the CA's, is them contacting people I know and my employees.

Is it possible to stop a payment on a check from American Cash advance? I have a loan of 750.00 with them and is current but in order to be able to refinance it since i can't pay the whole amount right now, is by giving them another check witht the quantity of the loan and I'll be able to pay the interest only. the problem is that I ran out of checks and don't have no more, I'm going to default on the loan and cause the to deposit the check!! help please! what should I do?

I recently have been contacted by OSB Investigation Services regarding a civil complaint being filed against me. They have called my mom, my sister and my dad and I have no idea how they got those numbers! Anyway, apparently Quickest Cash Advance has filed a civil complaint claiming that I defrauded them and are threatening to take me to court. I did not confirm this is my debt because I don't remember it but it's possible, I had a lot out at one time. I asked that the person send me a letter so I could look it over.

Anyone got any information on this number?
