I was recently contacted by a company named IAG, they asked me if I had been served and that I owed CashNet USA an outstanding loan. Although they did not get my name right the first time, I corrected them because I thought they were a legitamite agency, after all they specified that they were investigators hired to track me down either offer settlment for their clients, CashNet USA, or recommend to be served. They have mislead me by saying that they were located within the legal department and have threatened to serve my references.

I found out today that a suit was filed on June 4 by a CC but I have not yet been served. Assuming we settle, will the lawsuit still appear on my credit report. I was told it would not appear unless a judgment was filed against me. These questions may be naive but I will ask them anyway: What is a judgment? Does it mean that a judge has filed a judgment saying I have to pay? Do I have to be served before a judgment can be filed against me? I am really concerned about the lawsuit appearing on my credit report.

I am unable to pay all my credit cards each month> I have an income but I have too many payments to make each month, What should I do? I do not own a house or car.

I am in need of some guidance, I am in over my head!!! I have several outstanding payday loans, my account has been closed by the bank for being in OD to long due to these debits constantly coming out. I just do not have the income to pay them all. I do want to pay back what I owe but can't seem to come up for air.

Any suggestions when the bank refuses to close my account while I am going through the transition? Any suggestions regarding recommended banking arrangements? Prefer minimum fees to none and easy access to deposits. Do have arrangements with work to do direct deposit but have side job that I have individual payments (cash and check).

I called US Bank today to close the account and will not let me. They say due to the Cash Advance I have on the account. I don't mind paying that off in the next 35 days. Should I simply walk in and request them to put a HARD DEBIT BLOCK? Only thing is I won't be home for the next week and half and got to get this done. Any suggestions?

I just found out that a CC company filed a complaint on June 4 but we haven''t been served yet. I plan to settle. Does the filing of the complaint appear on my credit report even if the account is settled? Also, can a prospective employer find out about the lawsuit? Thank you
