I know I need to go for debt settlement, but how much does it COST to work with a firm? I am afraid of something that ends up doing more damage than help.

I got a call at work today from someone saying they were a process server, and said they would server me today. I asked them what the address to my office was, and their "computer wasnt' working" so they didn't have it in front of them.

A consent judgement was file against me in court that I DID NOT SIGN. I instructed the lawyer to send me the paperwork to review regarding the consent judgement. I never instructed anyone to sign a consent judgement on my behalf. What can I do?

OK, My bank account was closed on Thursday, my loans were due to pull Friday. I have all of my letters ready. I haven't heard from my bank(good news) or any of the payday loan companies. I realize it is only Monday morning, but when can I expect them to start calling/emailing? When should I send my letters/emails? I have a bunch so I would like to be proactive so I don't get hammered with calls all at once.

i need a question answered.........i borrowed from a couple of online pay day loans, i wrote all of them down and phone numbers, i paid someone in two pymts, my bank statments states cash yes, loan point is calling and saying i borrowed from them, i dont have them written down ...............are these people just callling to get money?
