Would I be able to revoke any assignment of wages and make payments to this PDL company in Ohio? Their APR is 375%. I have learned my lesson and once I can pay this off I will never get caught up like this again.

I have 21K that was charged off with capital one as of this month. Just over 180days late I have a letter showing it is with Capital One Services, LLC. The gal I have been talking to said all she can do is bring the balance down to the original purchases and make a sizeable dwn and make payments till paid off with 0% intrest. She said if I don't accept then it is earmarked and approved to go to the lawyers. I did offer a settlement of 40-50%...said they cannot go below the purchases at this point but they can lower the down and work with the payments. Any advice on to take this???

Weird title I know... But it did. A friend of mine is in massive amounts of debt. She was in a car accident three years ago and the medical bills wiped her out. Then she got into these pay day loans and the entire enchilada. She was in so much debt her phone would ring from 8am to 9pm non-stop. Literally. She then called me because she started receiving calls from these people claiming to be law enforcement and that she was going to be arrested. I am a retired police detective. So I looked into the calls and traced them back to an address and then got the name of the company.
