Hi, I live in Michigan and after researching found out that credit card company cannot hold me liable for spouse cards. They are not jointly held. I settled ones in my name and am now starting hers. If they sue her, they cannot garnish my wages but can go after joint checking account. I set up new account in my name only. Could put lein on home but underwater and do not plan on selling anytime soon. Am I forgetting anything?? If they sue, what would they get? She does not work and my income cannot be garnished. I am self employed. Thanks

The first time I posted here, I'd been using this site to research and learn. I thought I had figured out exactly what I needed to do. But I'm scared to close my account and send those letters to Magnum Cash Advance and PayDayOne. I had a lady e-mail me about debt consolidation/settlement. Do you guys recommend going this route or trying to settle it myself. I honestly don't care about settling for less than what I requested; I just want this to go away. I'm very scared of everything I am reading about these evil companies.

Hi my name is Tina and I live in Texas! Which Ive heard doesnt offer much of any solution if you need PDL help. I have 2 loans one i owe $586 and the other $1000. They are both store front. I have sent a certified letter to NCO Financial detailing to them that they need to validate the account which is for medical services. The total amount of the bill is $50, however, I only took one injection and paid the physician office. We went back and forth, I called the billing office, they advised me 2 years ago that they would take the information out of their system showing I did not owe the payment.

After being on this site and getting information I needed to take on these thiefs I have been making not threatening inquiries regarding my accounts with the following internet payday lenders: Instant Loans Now: I called questioning why they continued to take out only interest when their website states they will take out additional money after 5 payments of principal only. The guy "looked" at my account stating I actually did pay my account of in April. Well I had made 3 payments since then. He called his supervisor and the account is now paid.
