I have learned over the weekend that the 2 payday loans I have one from plain green the other from discount advances have been issued cease and desist from ny and the site for discount advances is down and pgl ach did not hit my bank as it usually would ..I live in nj and I had already pay 450 of the discount advances loan which was 890...plaingreen I had already paid 2400 towards a 2200 loan ...are these companies done for.I have had multipe loans with both companies with accounts still current. ..being that these loans are both illegal in nj I should be owed a refund ??

I am having a hard time trying to find out if 2 of the 3 pady installments loans I have is legal in the state if Illinois. I havechecked the states website, but to be honest, i am not finding any information. i am probably looking incorrectly, so i am just going to flat out ask the forum experts. Hi, I have tried to settle with Key Bank (unsecured line). I was nice and cooperated, but could not get them to settle for under 90% (I don't have it). One nicer collector told me they charge off at 180 days, and someone else said just wait and settle with the collection agency. I'm around 170 days now past due. Can someone tell me what the common percent is for a collection agency to buy debt that is 180 days past due? I heard it's 40% of balance is typical for 90 days past due, and that is what I paid on a different settlement. I'm guessing it's less for 180 days.

I have do have a payday loan through cash call. But what I thought I was getting help with payless financial with this payday loan and others. But my major problem is, I am trying to get my husband's and mine credit report out of trouble. We have a second mortgage, auto loan, payday loans and other bills. I am so stressed out that we try to stretch our paychecks to the next. But then we end up have to use our daughters paychecks to help with making payments on these loans. I have budgeted and budgeted so many times, I don't see what we are doing to our daughters.
