Hello, I have all internet based payday loans and live in CT. I know that they're all illegal in the state of CT. Two of the PDLs sent my past due accounts to a collection agency called FAST Collections located in TN (mycashnow and Paydaymax). The CA is not licensed to collect in the state of CT (verified on the CT dept of banking website). The CA has reported both loans to one or two of the CRAs as collection accounts. I need eveyones help, what should I do next? Should I dispute with the CRAs and then send a compliant to the CT Dept of Banking?
