Hi, I have been contacted by NCW, via telephone at my place of employment today. As of yet, have not recieved anything in the mail from them. The debt that is owed is to originally Cashnetusa I believe she said. I live in missouri, and have asked to not be contacted at work, later on today they then faxed over a employment verification letter. which I of course did not respond to. I called them back, and they are saying that I need to make a payment by may 31st. I asked for verification to be mailed to me, and the lady on the other line said she could email it.

So here's a little background. I am obviously behind on my Cap One card, and it's been sent to collections, Portfolio Recovery. I just recieved a warrant in debt from Glasser and Glasser Law Offices (their office is about 4 hours away from where our court location is). I've never sent a Letter of Validation or anything like that. I haven't had any contact (other than ignoring a couple letters the past few months) with the company. I just got a new letter saying my court date has been moved to a month later. What are my best options?

I just received a call from ACS Affidavit Consolidation Services and I am very angry at this time because the caller kept saying I have to pay day $200 for a pay day loan and yelling on the phone. I hung up the phone and he has been calling every minute and I am at my job. I am just thankful that this did not happened earlier with co-workers and clients around. NCO Financial has started trying to reach me by calling my friends. They have called 2 of my friends already and I don't have any idea how they would have these friends' phone numbers. These are people that are not and would not be listed on any information I've provided in a financial realm.

This company, hmm. Where should I start. If you are contacted by this company, prepare to sue them if: You didn't receive a 1st "dunning" letter. You checked to see if they are licensed to collect in your state and they are not. They tell you they are preparing to do *whatever* because you wrote a bad check for a payday loan. Their clients are preparing to take you to court because of inaction on a delinquent account. And any other variation of B.S. they may seem fit to dish up. And don't worry about the cost of an attorney.
