My amex account went to Zwicker at first, they would not go under 50% so I sent them DV and ARB so the the account right away went to NCO. They contacted me and offered 35% I could not do it and counter 30%. When I could do the 35% I called and spoke to different person and they would not take the first offer. So I told them I lost trust and now I will communicate in writing, so I sent them my offer in writing what I could do and DV letter. NOw the phone calls have stoped and no response what so ever.

I am dealing with GE Money, was Funancing for almost 8 years.. We purchased a boat in 2002. Payment was 163.00 for 8 years. Funancing went away and now its GE Money. Then statements as we knew them started coming as "credit card" debt. Strange fees, changing intrest rate and now the payment is up to $268.00. a month. For 2 months we have been asking for a signed copy of these terms. They instead send us pages of the current statements with the 'credit card' terms. I know the original creditor does not have to validate, so what can I do?

If a disclosure request was sent 10/31/2009 to Forster & Garbus, they have not yet sent me a disclosure or any letters since...but I received appearance date in court instead. Is this legal? Also I do not owe this debt and out of concern checked the SOL and it's 1 day short, they claim my activity on some account was 9/8/03, the summons/complaint was issued 9/9/09 (NY is 6 yrs.) I never heard of this debt prior to the summons!!

I received a courtesy call from a firm who states they represent a payday loan company which is past due. I closed my accounts in 2008 due to the company was illegal in my state and they were charging me more than allowed for SC residents. When I explained that I wanted to speak with Sandpoint Capital, the "gentleman" stated that they no longer wanted to speak with me and they wanted to setup a payment plan. They wanted to do it thorough my debit card which meant they would have my banking information once again.

advance credit recovery calls my job with a recording for anybody listening who answer the phone. Saying my name and informing the other person on the line that I am going to be sued. The number on the recording is a false number. I don't know who they represent.

Hello, I took out a pdl with The Loan Shop On - Line for $200. They now say I owe $560, $200 plus $360 in bank fees. My bank account is now closed as I could not keep up with the fees. They called me at work today and were very rude. After reading on this site I don't believe they are licensed in the state of NH? I am willing to pay what I borrowed but the $360 in fees plus the fees I now owe my bank on the closed account I can't afford. Could you please tell me what my rights are with this company? They have threatened to call my employer to pursue wage garnishment. Thank you
