I have a credit card with an outstanding balance of $2500. The credit limit is $3000. I want to take out a credit card with zero percent interest rate. I want to transfer the balance to that card. I have applied for a balance transfer credit card. However, I got approved for only $500 credit limit. Why is it so? My boyfriend has applied for a balance transfer card too. But, she was approved for card with $1500 credit limit. Why is it so? Why should I do to improve my credit limit?

I have 5 unpaid medical bills. I haven't made any payments on the bills for the past 5 years. The bills have been assigned to a debt collection agency based in SELMA, Alabama. Do ACH Revocation and revoking wage garnishments work with debt collectiors such as TRS and National Credit Adjusters? How do I deal with these collection agencies wihere PDL sold the accounts? I will request the original contract. Do I need to worry about my credit report? Do these companies have right to file judgment? The phone calls just started today from NCA and TRS last week.

I am in a uphill battle with the irs. I was audited in 2005, I was told that because my 23 yr daughter lived with me that i wasnt allowed to pay her, i was to give her room room & board in exchange for her working($9000.00 i have to pay on). Although i use more than half of my home for business, i am only being allowed to use what they deyermined. My ex didnt report his unemployment for 3 years(unbeknowing to me) Im being held liable for that. I have a matrimonial judgement that is non-dischargeable in bankruptcy against my ex. He was to make monthly payments to me until it was paid in full. He only made 3 payments. My ex started working as a carpenter for himself and showed on his taxes every year he lost money. When I consulted an attorney I was told I had to wait for him to have an asset before I could enforce the judgement. As a result I had to file bankruptcy because I didn't have the payments from him to pay off the matrimonial debt and I was told they bankruptcy court took the judgement as an asset.
