I have received messages from 2 different voices, both claiming to be "officer Greg Nelson" from 323-319-2660. They are also claiming to be from Carlsmith Ball Law firm in Los Angeles, CA. While this law firm does exist, it is not them. Myself and my attorney have spoken with the real law firm and called the bogus number back. They won't take the call from my attorney and will take it from my cell if I hide my ID. They have also called my daughter in another state and left fraudulent information on her voice mall.

I have a loan with BofA since 2004. I sent in a payment in July of 09 they refused it and sent it back. In August 09 they informed us our loan was behind. Sent Certified funds as advised to bring current. Did not hear from BofA until March 2010, the house is up for Sale. BofA applied the funds to Escrow and not the loan. I have contacted them and have only received the run around. Not sure what to do. Is there some where I can complain? Do I send a complaint to the Attorney Regulator that a crime has been committed, fraud.

Here is my dilemma. I have been getting calls from NCA about a payday loan I received in Oct 2006 from Dollar Quick. They call me at work saying they are giving me a courtesy call to try to make payment arrangements. They say that I have refused to pay but I really haven't. When I talk to them I tell them I cannot not talk because I am at work. I have told them over and over not to call me at work. They have other contact numbers but they don't call those numbers they just keep calling me at work when I have told them to stop. The rep says they are verifying my employement.

I borrowed a $ 100K business loan from Chase with a personal guaranty attached. I had to shut down my business and still owe Chase $55K. My disposable income is too high to file Chapter 7 and if I file Chapt. 13, my bankruptcy attorney says all owe it all back. Are their debt consolidation companies that will help with this type of debt? Or does anyone have any experience dealing with Chase on this outstanding debt without affecting your credit like filing Chapter 13 does?

Can a collection company hired by the payday loan company ask that you pay more than what the payday loan was for? I have a company calling me telling me that they want $480.00 for a payday loan that only gave me $255.00. They said the rest was interest and fees? Can they legally do that?
