this guy has been contacted by my payday loan companies and he is not resolving anything. i want my money back from this company and they won't give it to me. i have paid 8 payments of 150.00 every 2 weeks. 2 of my creditors have called with recorded phone calls on him talking like he is on the street to them. is this how this business is handled? did i get myself into something i can't get out of? anyone else have a problem with this guy at your pay day loan help.. i can't get to a manager at all when i ask for one.

Soo... I'm just curious. Why do so many people on here seem so adamant against paying by Western Union? Is it just because of the expense, or is it because there is a way to trace back to your bank account (how would there be if you take in cash?) What's the problem with it?

I received a letter from PRA about a Discover account from 16 years ago. They offered me a settlement. I have checked my credit report and its not on there nor has it been on there for the past 7 years. I am not sure what to do at this point. I know the debt is SOL and they can't collect. I am afraid that if I pay them it will reset the SOL and end up on my credit report. I am afraid that if I write them a letter about SOL, it will only piss them off. AND I am afraid that if I just ignore them, they will sue me. What should I do? What is my best option? Please help. Thank you!

I am in the process of rebuilding my credit. I am working to pay off the things on my credit report (old collections, student loan garnishment, etc) and slowly rebuilding my credit (it went up 120 points in the last year ...by making ontime car payments on my loan with a 23% interest rate). Anyway, I was interested in getting a secured credit card, so I can try to help it even more. I plan to use $ 500 for this. Any recomendations for cards?

Greetings everyone! Thank you for having this forum guys. Anyway, a friend of mine went back to her home country. She was promised a scholarship but got a co signer loan instead. Economy is pretty bad where she is now and she is not able to pay it back anymore. However, a guy who cosigned her loan was the one who promised the scholarship. She was making the payments regularly up until now. What is there for her to do now, since she has NO MONEY? Sallie Mae is where she got the loan from. Thanks!

I am receiving calls from a person that is saying his name is Officer Douglass. He has called the people I used for references and telling them that they are in trouble for my debt. The man originally called my job two weeks ago and told me the police would be there in an hour to pick me up because I didn't pay them. I was trying to setup payment arrangements with him and he told me I couldn't. When I asked for the company information, he would not give it to me. I tried to find out if it was actually a payday loan company I had actually used.

In 2003 a number of voice calls were made to another country on my Seattle TTY phone number. They were not my calls and Qwest removed them from my bill. On April 10, 2010, I received a notice from afni saying I owe $94.54. Qwest said charges are written off after 4 years and they don't have supporting paperwork for this amount of money. How do I respond (or do I) to these afni people?

CMG took a loan out for 350.00 paid back 100.00 plus a couple month of $90.00. Thye sold it to NCA and I aske dhim to valadate and he said I'm not playing your games transfer me to HR? It's only 2 months behind and I do plan on paying for it but they will not work with me.
