Good Day, I sent a debt validation request on 2/2/10 and have received a response dated 3/17/10 with a copy of the final monthly billing statement on the account, claiming this constitutes verification of the debt. Is this enough proof for validation? I am attaching a copy of the letter I sent them and the information I received from them, if someone could help out and let me know what I could do I would be forever grateful. Thanks! :confused:

I've managed to find out the ACH Processor information for 3 PDL companies. Discount Advances and PayDay MAx National Bank of California 1-323-655-6001 Speak to the ACH Group They wouldn't help me at all. But did let me know that were the processors for these two companies. National Cash Lenders The Payment Source, Inc Julie Anderson - President 1-928-479-2320. She worked with me and asked me to send her my letter. SHe said she would call them to let them know I called her. They marked my account PIF. Hope this helps someone out there.

I am just curious to know if any of this c&D and stopping them and getting a PIF actually works? Anyone?? I am so friggin scared right now I don't know what to do :( I know if they start calling my work I will get reprimanded for that but I don't see them stopping

After making several debt settlement arrangements and paying on them for a couple of months I am no longer able to make the payments. Do to a substantial decrease in income. Will the companies work with you and resettle at a later date. Has anyone had this experience?

I have received calls from a Janet Hall from NCA in regards to 2 loans (one with CMG group and one with Manhattan Processing) She is from a collection agency claiming to be NCA. She claims to have sent me documents but I have recieved none. She also will not give me her address when I am contacting her. She can not tell me the individual amounts of the 2 loans or provide me with documentation but is claiming to take this to the next level. She is downright ignorant on the phone. Should I be concerned?

I received a message on my cell and at work from a Joseph stating he was trying to contact me about a check that I wrote and needed to verify some information with me for security purposes. I am not sure how to respond to this because I have not had a checking account in over a year. He sounds american and the caller id is from somewhat local area(about 1 1/2 hours away) with a call back #866-443-6985.

I called my bank again (after their 48 hours period for closing my account) and the lady advised me that some PDL company was trying to push a $300 credit through my closed account. I had advised her that I did not want any credits or debits to open my account back up and I want to make sure it is officially closed.

I have been dealing with payday loans for over a year now. Money is being taken out of my account every payday leaving me with practically nothing. I have been struggling to pay my bills and feed my 3 children. My checking account end up negative every month. I had to cancel my direct deposit in order to pay my car payment and buy food. This of course left my checking account negative $980. My dad gave me $1000 and I took it to the bank and closed my account. I was told my account is closed and will not be reopened if any more transactions are attempted.
