Nervous Now

11 years 10 months ago
Ok I sent out my letters to all 5 companies. I am just nervous now as to how they each will respond. Can anyone give me an idea of how long it takes to respond? Has anyone received a refund before and if yes how long did it take then to mail it? These are the companies I emailed: Plain Green EZ Payday Northcash Magnum Cash Advance Payday One now called RISE Anyone ever deal with these companies before?

Nationwide Check Processing

11 years 10 months ago
I received a voicemail this morning from a Samantha at Nationwide Check Processing. The number is (720) 684-5957 Longmont, CO. She said an application was filled out with my name and social security number and was red flagged. I have a PDL in collections. Could these be related? She wanted me to call back voluntarily. But when I googled the name of the company I'm not really finding anything. So I'm thinking its most likely a scam of some kind? I'm not sure. She didn't mention anything on the voicemail abut them collecting a debt and such. I'm not sure what I should do.

Follow up to Question about legal in SC

11 years 10 months ago
If you have had a long relationship with one of the illegal companies, can you go back to the beginning and add up what they given you and what you paid back and ask for the difference? An example is Payday One/RISE, I started with they on June 2nd 2010, I received deposits in the total amount of $17575. They have withdrawn my account $22855.21. This results in an overpayment of $5280.21. I have a current loan of $1500 and have paid $560 toward this one. Should I not finish paying they off and ask for the $5280.21 that was over paid since 2010?

Is this a valid debt verfication?

11 years 10 months ago
I recently wrote a debt verification letter to a collection agency regarding some medical bills. The first page the collection agency sent me a state had the total amounts I owe to a hospital and a clinic. The rest is a statement of their records. They are a little confusing. It has my info at the top and the name of the hospital. The page numbers skip around from page 66 to 944. Then just dates and amounts plus interest and when they sent me statements. It also looks like they tried to bill my insurance but were unable to?

I Q gave out my info to someone else using only my birthday and name

11 years 10 months ago
The truth is, I don't know who did it. I asked my wife and she says she didn't do it, but for them, I was told that the other person only used my birthday and name and was gained access to all my personal info. Can they do that?

Ok to close these?

11 years 10 months ago
Hello all, I am so glad I came across this site. I am loosing my mind trying to pay for these loans. I just called them to see if they could do a skip payment for this paycheck because I need to pay my electric and phone bill and they where useless. Normally I am very honest about paying my bills and responsibilities but I see no other way out of this but to close the account and cancel the ACH thing. Here is what I have and what I have paid, I am in California.

Help with CWB Services/Sandpoint Capital Sent ACH Revoke Letter

11 years 10 months ago
I sent the following letter to Sandpoint Capital/CWB services. They called me and emailed me and I was interested in the loan but then refused it. I was never presented with an application to sign, they solicited me. After reading reviews of them on the web, although I SPOKE to them quite a few times to try to get a description of loan terms, when they said "there's nothing to sign" I told them I didn't want the loan anymore but then they stopped taking my calls and I always got a voice mail. Can anyone decipher this e-mail they sent me?? I can't pay them all at once.

Cutter group response

11 years 10 months ago
How should I respond to this from cutter group that I have overpaid? Unfortunately, you have been misinformed. It’s clear that you have researched – possibly on the internet that other customers have sent these form emails to the lender and it has cleared them from responsibility - but this is simply not the case. The Cutter Group – being an online cash advance lender operates under Federal Regulations. Many States are doing what they can to regulate but since you went online and contacted us to reactive your account you are still responsible.
