I'm trying to find an address or phone number for DJR Group. My account has been overdrawn, and it's largely due to them. My loan has been paid off, but they are still deducting that $60 payment from my account every 2 weeks. Can anyone help at all with some information?

Collection agencies & OLD debts

15 years 11 months ago
I have searched this site and STILL not found anything exactly like MY situation so I'm asking as a newbie here! I get random calls and letters occasionally on OLD debts (meaning older than 8-10 years in some cases, that is past the SOL in my state----some of this was indeed owed at the time and there is and was no money to pay. Some of it is Not owed, and some of it is just tacked-on charges. I normally ignore these fools. I do not talk to them, I do not admit to them even the few that I do actually have a debt.

Law Office of Mitchell N. Kay, P.C.

Law Offices of Mitchell N. Kay, P.C His office is breaking FDCP Rules. They have called all the Stenzel's in largo, FL. and left phone messages with case #. This is third party information and against the law. I will take legal action against this firm. All the massages are saved on their answering machine. Also I will call FDCP and file a complaint against the Mitchell N. Kay law firm.

Will the CC Sued My Friend?

15 years 11 months ago
Last year one of my friends ask me to help him settle his credit card debt. He was in over his head so I agree! I helped him get his ducks in the roll and spend a good amount of time coaching him on what to say and ask for! I even wrote letters for him! In the end he got a cash settlement of 35% on his chase card. I was under the impression he had the cash to settle, he has since told me he did not and borrow it from another card, around $8,000. When he approach me the other day and said he needed my help again I was shocked. 8 months later he still owes the $8000.

Court Appearance?

15 years 11 months ago
I received a summons back in September and was looking into bankruptcy but was told I could not proceed due to my income. When I went in, the person advising me on this, told me how to look up my court date online, and it was March 22nd, 2010. So now it is coming up and I am unsure what to do. Should I get representation? What can I expect? Will I be able to negotiate payments in court? I realize I probably waited to long, but it is what it is. I have successfully negotiated my other credit card debts and this one might put me to the point I can't afford.

Settling an AMEX debt with NCO for 38%. Is it ok?

15 years 11 months ago
I am talking with this woman from NCO who is sending me a faxed settlement letter although I have not received it yet. I told them I need to review the letter first. They told me I can pay it in 2 payments and they can accept payment by either debit card or by check over the phone. Is all of this ok? Please advise asap! Thank you so much!

Payday loans in PA

15 years 11 months ago
So, I have a couple of questions... First, I have taken out two payday loans with two online lenders. National Cash Lenders borrowed: $1000 paid:$450 Payday Max borrowed $950 paid $425 This is the amount I have paid so far. I've been in this never-ending loop for a couple years on and off. I called the Dept. of Banking in PA today and found out that payday loans are illegal in PA. No payday loan company is legal in PA. Do I have any recourse against these companies high fees? Should I pay the minimum until I've paid back what I borrowed and then close my account?

Question

15 years 11 months ago
My dad had taken a loan with One Click Cash around 3 months ago they have taken over $500.00 for a 300.00 loan. They go into his acct do and take $75.00 then 50.00 on the same day. My day is now deceased and they're still going into his acct taking money, by the way it's money that's not there. I've called One Click Cash to notify them of my dead death, they're telling me I need a power of attorney form before they will even speak with me regarding the loan. How do I go by obtaining that form? I've even offered to send a copy of the death certificate.
