I was attending classes back in 2005, the university which I was attending claimed that I signed up for classes that I did not sign up for nor attend. They continued to collect from me and I started making small payments because I could not continue to sign up for classes until that debt was resolved. I finally gave up as the amount just kept growing due to interest. They sold the account to Collection Agency A who reported it to my credit. Fast forward to now, I am being sued by a law firm for Collection Agency B.

I;m in BK7 now had my first court hearing 1/20/10; Although my lease is showing as a creditor i was gonna keep it untill April when it was due ,,,,SO I THOUGH,,,,,, My lease is in contract till 10-2011. It looks like I was scamed by the car sales man and signed for a 54 month lease WOW,, I was shocked,, They must have switch the forms on me back in 4-07. I know it sain 36 month lease yet my recent bill from MMCA says time due of 10-11. Now nobody in there right mind signs a deal like that .

To summarize, I was served a summons in August of 2009 by Mann Bracken for a case involving Arrow Financial. Arrow Financial is claiming I entered into an agreement with them to pay back money owed on an account they bought. I never entered into any type of agreement with them, nor have I ever spoken to them on the phone. I answered the summons as instructed, either denying the statement or stating there wasn???t sufficient evidence to support the claim. I have admitted to nothing. I also included in the affirmative defenses that the SOL had expired. In NC the statute is 3 years.

I was registered with a credit monitoring company for a few months. I was able to get access to my report and noticed 9 different things on my report I wasn't sure what they were. I called up the company and told them all the accounts I wasn't sure about. They investigated my report and had 4 out of the 9 removed. They told me it would take around 60 days to be removed off my report. It's been well over 60 days now so I accessed my report from freecreditreport[dot]com and I still notice a couple that they claimed were going to be removed that are still showing up.

New to the community and have been reading for the past month. To start, this is my Mom???s debt. She had stopped working in the fall to undergo open heart surgery, during which time I checked on her finances and uncovered large amounts of debt. Dad has been pasted for many years now so my siblings and I have stepped in and taken responsibility of my Mom???s finances. Mom was only paying minimums on 4 cc and in the hole for 32k. She will not be going back to work and will have no income to cover any cc payments.

Does the bank bear any responsibility to get a decent price for my truck at a public auction? Here are the details: Washington State, Bank of America Truck Loan, Truck repossessed last night, 25K owed, 22K is the Kelly Blue Book on the truck, truck is to be publicly auctioned. My real concern is that they will take 25K plus a few thousand in repossession fees, storage fees, attorneys fees, and whatever other fees they can think of to drive that number to 30K...and then let my truck go for 15K...and then sue me for the other 15K as a deficiency judgement...and then put a lien on my house.

I just spoke with a person at the Dept of Finance and Consumer Affairs for Ohio. She said they do not regulate internet PDL companies. I thought that they had to be licensed in Ohio? Can anyone clear this up?

Does Debt Consolidation work with pay day loans

I have 4 cc to settle with and looking to make lump sum offers. Is it in my best interest to tell each creditor that I have other crediters to settle with and only have a specific limited amount to offer. Therefore, If they don???t accept my offer, I can???t promise that I???ll have the lump sum I originally offered after I get done with the other crediters? Thoughts?
