can i qualify for debt relief with $7500 in credit card debt?

I signed up for this site thinking it was a no-nonsense help site and I am receiving calls from several other companies claiming I filled out online applications with them and gave them my phone number. I have received at least 5 calls in the first hour after signing up for this site! What a scam! Has anyone else had this happen to them? This site selling their phone numbers to other debt companies!? - Frustrated.

I'm thinking of filling BK , I have a few questions , but here is my situation I have 80 k in CC debt , married with 4 childeren have two cars that are paid off but only worth 2500.00 per car. The house we live in now we bought two years with nothing down so we only have 2000.00 in equity in house. The big problem is we have a rental house that we really don't want the tenats moved out and trashed , but the house is worth less than what we owe , and we are behind in mortgage the two questions I have is it better to let the bank forclose on rental house or include that in BK.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but A collection agency isn't supposed to report an account to the credit bureaus while it's in the verification process right? Because I see that nca has put something onto my report, but before that I had spoken with them and the guy there told me it was still being validated. So how could they report me?

I have 2 payday loans on my credit report - PaydayMax and Instant Loan Today. Are they allowed to post that on my report? I thought I remembered reading they were not allowed to. If they are not, what can I do about it? THANKS!

Does anyone know how to stop a summary judgement from going through? I was a independent contractor, providing trucking services. After the market had gone sour, so did my contracts. I no longer have the business but I have a mile high of debts. American Express being one of them. I owe around $15k. My wife and I had signed up with one of the consumer agency that really don't work for you and they have tried to negotiate $1500 on a $15k debt. I tried to take matters in my own hand and spoke with one of the personnels at the debt lawyers collection agency handling American Express.

I have closed one bank account due to 4 illegal payday lenders. Unfortunately, I asked for a new loan on one of them that was paid out and gave them my new banking account info. Can they share this info with the ones who werent paid out? The new account has my husband as the primary and me as second. The other bank account only had my name on it.

I live in NY and have about 15 CC accounts with around 18,000 worth of debt. I have a full time job but have not paid any of these accounts in the last 5 months or so and am thinking soon I will be getting the old garnish treatment. I want to hire a good settlement company to help me but its hard to know which one to choose. Any suggestions?
