Has anyone ever been contacted by JD Enterprise and Financial Services? They are trying to collect on a payday loan from 2006 first I heard anything about owing it was Dec 17 2009 from this collection agency

I have a debt on a credit card from Citibank from my college days. It had a $2500 limit--the debt is now at around $3000. I really don't remember when I had the card turned over to collections, but if it's not beyond the SOL, it's gotta be close. The debt was turned over to Midland, and I've never contacted anyone about it through letter or phone. I was actually getting ready to send them a DV this week because, honestly, I want to get this paid off with my tax return. I'm going back to grad school next fall, and I don't need this on top of my student loans.

Is there any programs available for help in paying auto loans? I know they are secured loans, just wondering. M & T Bank lowered my payment but my medical insurance has risen so I'm kind of in the same boat again.

Well, I managed to work out a payment plan with all my credit card company except Citi. They charging 30% APR. Does anyone know where I can file a complaint or whether I have any options? Thanks

Here is the e-mail I received via e-mail from Cash Direct Express/GECC. The 170 is much better than the collection letter I received demanding 890. In my e-mail to them I stated that I had been made aware they were not a legal lender in the state of Ohio (I was formerly a resident of Michigan and received and paid off a loan from them while living there) and requested that my account be removed from collections. I've read Ohio law and it disputes what they claim below, but I'm willing to take their offer and be done. It felt good to fight back!

I'm trying keep a level head about this regarding recent information I recieved from law firm Machol and Johannes. Initially this law firm filed a summons against me for a debt that I was pretty sure had been bought by another collection agency (collection agency could've hired them to collect it). I filed a response to their summons before the court date stating "...I deny the damages claimed to be due to the Plaintiff, Arrow Financial.

Has anybody had any dealings with them I received a letter in bold saying we have a attorney who is licensed to practice in your state.

I am back and trying to catch up with all the changes.

What do I need to find before I select any ds company?
