I just got a phone call at work from an "Officer Johnson"............... Real heavy accent and he has a last name of Johnson? I don't think so. He called back a second time and when he asked if he could talk to me he was told NO. I have no idea where he was calling from since he was hung up on real fast. Has anyone else started getting calls from this bozo?

Has anyone in Missouir ever used Destination Debt Solutions for store front payday lenders? I`m thinking about signing up but i wasn`t sure if it is successful in Missouri. Thank you all for your help!

I have heard about pre-paid credit cards, but not sure if they really exist. What are the banks that offer pre-paid credit cards? And, what are the benefits of a pre-paid one? Would it make my credit report look good?

I am looking at consolidating my pdls. But it seems that there aren't many companies in the pdl consolidation business. Are the pdls trickier than other creditors to deal with or it is because pdls can't be consolidated?

Can illegal payday loans report to the credit bureaus? Two illegal pdls are reported in my Experian. Should I dispute it with the CB or deal with the lenders? Experian hasn't been much cooperative in the past regarding removing disputed entries from the report. :( What do I do? It's hurting my score.

I have 3 payday loans totaling about $3000. I contacted Relief LLC and am considering signing with them to handle things. Has anyone worked with them? It would take 12 mos to repay and of course, more money, but I feel it would be worth it to stop the harassing. Any thoughts?

My orginal loan was with Sagmore for 300.00 which i have paid more than that in refinance charges. I tried to get them to take all my refinance payments and put them towards the loan amount when my hours were cut a work but they would not so i closed my bank account so they would stop withdrawing that amount each pay period. My loan has now been turned over to I-Collect. I received a call from a man stating that i now owed over 800.00 in fees and that he works with the collin county court system and that i need to set up a payment arrangement.
