receive summons from pse and g for 1800 ..2005...correct address but totally wrong last name..does that matter?? also where can i get copy of transaction for house sale in 2005? ty

Hi...I have an outstanding loan with CashNetUSA. The initial loan was for $1,000 and to date, I have paid $793.65. I took out the loan in Ohio over the internet. I looked at Ohio's laws regarding PDLs, but I'm confused as to what they mean. I want to pay back the initial loan plus what is reasonable interest. How can I communicate this to CashNetUSA? I sent a cease and desist letter to them, but they are saying the balance of the loan is $1,261.99. I want to be sure I'm fair to them and me.

I owe roughly $3,500 to a Collection Law Firm who purchased the debt from Capital One. They are willing to settle for $2,100; however, I cannot afford the payments they are asking me of per month. This is the only debt I have, other than this my credit history is pretty much spotless, and I have done everything I can in order to resolve this debt. I was told that in Ohio, you are able to write off one debt one time and be done with it. I don't know what to do.

This collection agency called my mother-in-law's unlisetd phone number. I called this agency back and he told me that they are allowed to if they cannot get a hold of the person they are looking for. I asked him if he had any validation and he said they mailed it on November 25th. I told him that I did not recieve it and he said "how convenient". My question is, are they allowed to call a third party? They are called Greystone Alliance and they said they work for National Credit Adjusters who work for Household Bank.

well today i am just concentraiting on just to get throut the day without overwelming myself and projecting 4 to 6 months i just want to need to focus on the present. i know for me i have to keep it simple like that because i will definatley back at square one again. and i am getting tooo dang old to keep repeating my mistakes. so the way i look at it is as long as i dont loose my job GOD FORBID i should be ok between now and agust of next year. if all goes well i can reevaluate my situation.

I am needing to know if there is a sample letter for me to fill in the blanks to send to The Vip Loan Shop explaining my loan of $600 is PIF and they need to refund me $602 in overpayments I have made to their illegal company. And that this is the only settlement that will staisfy my complaints? Thank you

Is the company Legit, they say they are collecting for payday loan yes. Not sure if I am spelling their name right. Should i deal with them??

I just received a call from a women stating she was a process server and was going to serve my papers at my work. She gave me a number to call 866-610-3540 the barr Group?? Not sure if that is the correct spelling. I called them and they stated they were collecting for payday loan yes. they were asking for $760.00, the original loan amount was $350.00. He said he would accept a one time payment of $410.00 if made this month or two mayment of $250.00. Are these guys legit?

Hey, does anyone have a fax number for them? I just got 5 phone calls at work, about a medical bill. What can I do to make them stop calling me at work? Can I request to work with the original creditor??? What can I do???

In my little battle with one illegal (in my state, Florida) internet PDL, I did tons of research into similar cases - since I work in litigation consulting, I have access to loads of court documents and I thought that I'd be able to save at least one person from trying to get all this info and also so that you all may have a bit more leverage when negotiating these things. The court documents (complaints, etc) are too big to upload. I can put them on docstoc and link to them if I'm allowed...mod please let me know
