Has anyone ever banked with this particular credit union? Or even banked at a credit union at all? Seems that I'm trying to work things out to where I'm not being nickel & dimed to death from payday lenders and since it's illegal in our state for them to charge me what I've loaned I've waited for the amount to be taken out of our account and I want to put a hard hold/freeze on any and all ACH debits from our account but according to Veridian they've never heard of such a thing so therefore they can't do it. Is this correct?

I was offered a 32% settlement from chase on a cc card with a 19000 balance that is in the pre-litigations department and is 90 days late. I wasn't planning on settling. I was planning on filing bankrupcy, but the offer was too good. I have another card with chase with a 7000 balance in the collections department that is also 90 days late, so i called them and asked if they could settle for the samme amount. They told me that they did not have a settlement offer for me, but if i setlled the other card i could settle with them for the samme amount.

I have 2 payday loans. CashAdvanceNetwork - $1,100 paid $275 PayDayOne - $700 - paid nothing but have paid them over $1,400 in the last year on other loans. I have contacted my bank and they are working with me to stop the charges from coming through and put a hold on my account. I might end up closing the account and opening another with the same bank(credit union). They are being very understanding of the situation. I first tried to get a loan but was unable to of course... I have been playing this payday loan game for about 2 years and have finally just had enough! So...

I've been suspended from my job without pay, since March, as a result of being arrested on felony charges of theft by deception from my 85 year old dad who has dementia! I've entered my plea of not guilty. I can't draw unemployment, no one is hiring me! All the money I had was used to post bond and hire an attorney! Nothing remains to apply toward my debts! I can't sign up for payment plans or consolidations. Is bankruptcy the next step. This is my real situation!

I am 90 days past due on Amex cards...Amex rep informed me that my card will be cancelled today and sent to Collection agency..They also informed me that Amex doesn't settle for anything less than 80%...Has anyone dealt with Amex recently? Your advice is appreciated!!

Hey Guys and Gals. I recently went for advice and i know basically have 2 options Bankruptcy or Credit Counseling. They told me that i could pay back my debt in 5 years with a monthly payment of $350 (my debt is 21 000). Then i would still be on file for another 3 years. So that's 8 years total. But with Bankruptcy i would only be 7 years or less. I was just wondering if there are any benefits to going with a Credit counseling. I currently have no assets.

Hi, I have been working with Card Services on a BOA debt of 15k. They have offered mea 4000.00 pay off in 4 payments. I am 180 days past due. They have given me till Friday to take offer, I told them I wanted this deal in writing and would pay by money order. They refuse, wanting to send me a fax and withdraws from my bank account only. Do I just sit tight, Try to talk to a supervisor or accept. This sight has such good information. Thank for your help

I don't know is anyone can help me, but I just need to know if Walgreens uses cetergy? If anyone can help me with that. Thank You,:)
