Hello: I have taken the step of sending cease and desist letters to 5 of my payday loan companies. It is strange but none of them will even call, email me, anything. When I contact them about paying---they act scared to talk to me. I was very direct in my letter to these companies. Since I was actually a victim of identity theft by one of these companies, my bank, the FTC, the Attorney General here in TX, and the BBB are involved and investigating. According to what I have learned----out of the 9 pd loans I have---8 are illegal.

I wanted to post my experience with cash express just for anyone who may be doing research in the future. They are a legal store front. I did my first check with them 15 months ago. Of course it progressed from there and I ended up with several internet loans as well as a couple of more checks with them.

Hello. We (DH and I) have gotten ourselves into a huge mess with payday lenders. I know that Check n go and Cashnetusa.com are and have already sent EPP letters to them. Any help would be greatly appreciated! We are currently overdrawn in our account and are going close it.

Hi Im having some trouble with my bank and my payday loans. I had out 4 PDL's and one debited from my account. Which my bank paid them even though I did not have enough money in there. Which overdrafted me and everything else that I had planned to hit my account, which I had enough money for. ACE CASH EXPRESS ACE CREDIT SERVICES(thats how it came out on my account) Loan Amont: $560.00 Charge:$114.29 Debited from Account:$676.62 Refinanced 4 times. I had taken this loan amout out for about 9 months and Im going broke paying fees.

I have a loan with Paradise Cash Advance. The actual lender is IEG, LLC from Charlestown, Nevis, West Indies. The day I got the loan I request to go ahead and have the amount with drawn from the account on my payday. It never happened. But to be honest I was not that concerned and let it go. After the second w/d I tried to call the number listed on the bank transaction that said "Questions? Call....." and all I got was a voicemail stating to leave my name and SS and someone would get back to me. They didn't.

So I haven't filed taxes since 2006. I expect to get money back for this year but will owe around 8k for the last two years, I think. I also have about 30k in CC debt that has been sold of and the like, I haven't made a payment on any of them since fall 2008. Right now I am stationed outside the US and don't really think I can be sued. I have about 20k coming to me this march, and am willing to devote 10k to paying off debt. Should I pay of IRS of CA first? Can they sue me once I return to the states? I have a couple of 9k credit cards, maybe they will sue me?
