I sent a certified C&D letter via mail to Ameriloan and CMG Group and both came back as return to sender. I'm constantly receiving emails and calls and the balance is getting higher and higher and I don't know what to do next to make them stop and to settle for the prinicpal amount only.

Do payday relief companies really help?

I want to share my PDL success story with everyone with hope that it may inspire someone else to free him/herself from the PDL nightmare. I joined this forum only a few weeks ago having 7 internet PDLs and have accomplished the following: Loan Shop Online - borrowed $500, paid $1500, received PIF and $300 refund. Unnamed internet PDL Company - borrowed $500, paid $1200 received PIF and partial refund (signed a confidentiality agreement so cannot share specific info). Magnum Cash Advance/International Cash Advance - borrowed $700, 1 payment left and will have repaid $775ish.

I received a phone call from the above group indicating that they are collecting on a CashNetUSA loan. I did have a loan from them, but have paid it back. I cannot find any information on this group except there website, which says very little except that they treat customers and clients with the upmost respect. The left me a message at my work, my home, and then called my elderly mother and said they couldn't reach me could she provide them with additional contact information.

Hey, I guess I just need to vent.. everytime I post something.. a question, advice, it seems like someone has to point out that i am a deadbeat, i need to pay my bills, whatever. i know it is nothing new to any of us here and in the past i usually just ignored them. however i am kind of responding so readers with similiar problems or whom i am trying to help does not get the wrong idea. but i do not want to add fire to the flames, which is what i know what these trolls want.

Has anyone had any success dealing with Zip19/ecare contact centers? They refuse to accept any sort of payment arrangements. I have their western union info and plan to pay back as I can but their phone calls are terrible to say the least

I sent letters to Academy Collections and Harris & Harris, explaining and outlining to them the numerous FDCPA violations that both companies continued to make by harassing me, reporting unvalidated on my credit reports, etc. I simply told them in the letters the number of violations and gave them the section within the FDCPA, where it shows which rules they violated. I then added up the amount of the violations, showing how much they would owe me when I took them to court and won. All traces of these accounts have now been removed from my credit report - YAY!!!!!

A series of questions based on the following assumption: assume that limitations ran 10-1-05 in a 4 year state. What is the proper procedure now? 1. send debt validation 2. send cease and decist. 3. do what w the CB & collector now? 4. What else can you do? It gets reported but when can they stop reporting new interest and what about limitations on the past years that have expired?

What does it mean that the debt will be reported to credit bureua as charged off/settled in full.
