I am 130 days old on this account with bal of $3,700. Recieved settlement letter for $2,772 with deadline of 11/27/2009. Obviously not going to accept but what is my next step? Do I wait and call at end of month with my offer?

Two of my PDLs--and I'm suspecting the rest as well--attempted to debit my account despite my email notifying them of ACH revocation as well as demanding that contact be only via email or snail-mail. So WHY did I get a voicemail at WORK?:mad: One of them gavem me until 2:00 PM to call them or they will add a $265 "collection charge" and forward me to collections. To think I almost gave them the benefit of the doubt and wasn't going to do anything with my bank account. Good thing I decided to error on the side of caution.

Any info on nationwide cash? Has anyone had experience with them. Are they legal in mississippi?Any fax number?

I have been getting threatening calls from Zip19 Collectors known as ECare Solutions. They are refusing to accept 3 payments and state they are going to send an explicit letter to my employer. Is this true? I have already drafted a revokation of voluntary wage assignment, can anyone verify an address to send it to and any advice on how to deal with Ecare???

Hey there everyone i was just introduceing myself here im a first time visitor who hopes to become a daily reader!

I am new to the forum and was reading on line yesterday about submitting an EPP to payloan places to set up a payment plan. Could someone please explain to me how this works? From what I found online, it says you have to pay it off in 4 payments? Is this true? I don't know if I can pay off 3 loans in 4 payments. Also, I spoke with a debt counseling agency today and she told me that I would send them an intention to repay an outstanding debt letter. Has anyone done that and was it successful?

Hello. Yesterday on 9th, I received "Notice of Claim" in mail and it states that I am being sued by Blatt, Hasenmiller, Leibsker & Moore LLC for Capital One debt from 2007 in the amount of $1350. It was apparently filed back in September, but the hearing date is on 12th, this Thursday! Here is my situation - I do admit that this debt is valid and all and I would pay it but I can only pay it in 4 months perhaps. So, I am thinking if I should call these people and try to settle with them. However, is there any hope that they would actually do that, 2 days before the hearing?

Can a collection agency legally collect on a payday loan issued by an internet company that wasn't licensed in my state at the time the loan was issued?

I have two PDL. One through Kenwood Services and one through DJR group. I closed my account back in July when I saw other fraud on my account. I contacted them and made them aware of this and requested a place where I could send in payments. However no response. Long story Short CDR and Associates contacted me telling me my loan of $250.00 is now up to $1,146.23. Also they have the file for DJR group and thats up to $1,626.11 for a $300.00 loan. I am unsure on how to handle. CDR is telling me that I need to make a payment arrangement. Which I am willing to do to pay off this debt.

I did something I tell everyone not to do.. my rent was late and my landlord was pressuring me real bad to give him something. I get paid tommorow so I gave him a partial payment and he put in writing a schedule to pay and everything was great and I was so happy. Fast forward a bit and I realized that tommorow is Veteran's Day, my work is closed and my credit union is closed. My credit union said they will post my check whenever payroll sends it, probably on Thursday. But does this mean my check will bounce?? i left a voicemail for him to not cash it yet but I think I might be too late :(
