does anyone know if mann bracken is licensed in new york. Do i have to respond to them?

This is a conversation my sister had with Mann Bracken at 8:01am. MB rep: Can I speak with anc526? Sister: She's sleeping. She should be up in a half an hour, call back then. MB rep: Can I speak with her? Sister: No, she's sleeping, call back in half an hour. MB rep: Well, if she's going to be up in half an hour, just go put her on the phone. Sister: No, she's 8 months pregnant. I'm NOT waking her up. MB rep: She'll be up in 30 minutes anyway. Sister: I don't care.

I got my first call from LRA yesterday. Do I call them back and ask for a dunning letter or do I just send the DV out. I have no idea who they are attempting to collect on. I know its a payday loan but if its for MTE then that one was included in a bankruptcy about 3 years ago.

Has anyone else been harassed by OVLG?I called yesterday and inquired about the program but wasn't too sure about it and said I'd think about it but then I received over 5 calls through out the day from them.Are they legit?That many calls make me worried.

Has anyone out there done this? I feel I need to look at doing this since I am so much in debt and am now facing possible garnishments which will destitute my family if they are successful. I have no money whatsoever for an attorney. Any ideas or thoughts would be appreciated. I live in NJ Thanks

I'm needing a little help, trying to ID a number that keeps calling me: 1-866-905-8941 I get calls, now on an irregular basis. Used to be almost daily.

I would like to settle with my cc company. I would like to make a settlement in four payments from Oct 2009-Jan 2010. Would the 1099 fall into the 2009 tax year or 2010? I'm not sure because the first 3 payments would be in 2009 and the last payment would be 2010. Thanks in advance!

LVNV Is about to garnish my wages. I've never been served, which the email that I received from them states I have. It also has my personal information wrong, They have me at an address I have never lived at. What can I do? Like many others here I can barely afford to eat and the money is going to start coming out of my check less than one week after I heard about it.

I have a loan out with BigSky Cash. I have sent them the standard letter stating that they are illegal in New Mexico. I sent another letter restating this when the phone calls kept coming. I then got a response from a Kathy Parks in a very non-professional, undated letter stating she understands that ???making loan payments is not always the top priority for people in financially stressed situations. However, the State of New Mexico does not have jurisdiction over our lending practices as you stated in your fax.??? I didn???t fax these letters, I mailed them.
