I'm in month 11 on several Citibank 12 month payment plans (Bloomies, Macys', etc.) and still haven't found a good paying job. My credit is already trasked since I lost my house and settled all my other debts (these were tough so I elected a payment plan to buy time and use my funds for my other cc's). Do you think Citi will settle now after being on a payment plan?

Has anyone gotten a recent Home Depot Citigroup settlement lately? I am 2 months behind and unable to make my regular payments. I was hoping they might put me on a hardship program but no luck so far. I owe 11,000 and climbing on this account and I'm being told they will soon send it to a collection agency. I've heard NCO handles their accounts and can be quite aggressive. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have gotten several calls in the last month from this number, I tried a google search and get nothing other than the pre-fix is from New York. I don't know if it is some type of CA, they never leave a message and I don't answer my phone unless I know who is calling. The number is 631-652-1575. Thanks.

I have a Home Depot credit card through Citibank South Dakota that I owe almost $12,000 on and have not been able to make the payments for the past two months. I'm really worried! They call constantly and will not give me any type of help such as a hardship program or a settlement option. The rep tells me they will soon sue me for the current balance with late fees ect.. We are just making our basic bills right now and might be able to swing a hardship program, but these guys are not budging! I'm afraid if I get sued I'll go under.Any insight or help would be greatly appreciated.

I just got a letter from Eastside Lenders, a Deleware co., that they accepted my offer to pay back the principle and two NFS fees. Initially, they tried charging me $705 for defaulting on a $300 loan. I contected the Ohio AG and they sent me there whole file on ESL. The file included complaints and the law that states internet lenders outside of Ohio and not permitted to give Ohioans a loan. I also filed a compalint with the Deleware BBB. So after a month and a half, I won the battle. So in the end I only owed them $35 since I have already by them $315 in fees and extensions.

I've asked this question before. I'm STILL quite confused, so, I hope someone can help me. The 'checking to savings/savings to checking' thing..and..the 'loan' thing. I know it's a new 'product on this forum. I just don't know how to use it. Any answers? Thanks.:confused:

Hi everyone! It's been a few months since I've been here. Actually, more like 7! My life has been so hectic, I am running the Boston marathon this April, and I am a loyal PTA mom and Odyssey of the mind coach. I see so many new faces, most people here don't have a clue who I am! I feel like I owe this site a big thank you. When I came here my life was a mess...I learned a ton here, cleaned everything up, and was able to become a moderator and give back what I got.

I keep getting calls from an unknown number and when they leave a voicemail the message is cut off because the recording they use starts talking before my voicemail is even recording. I know it is a CA, just don't know who? All I am able to get on the voicemail is 651-4032 option 1. This is time sensitive. We would like to speak with you about some options we have for you. We have left several messages. That's it! Have no idea who it is!!! Anyone else received these calls??? Thanks a lot

Hi there, i really really need some advice. I need to respond to a civil summons for a unpaid gym bill. ive tried to get some sort of legal council on how to resond to the summons, but i cant afford anyone that ive spoken to! i know i owe the company the money, but how do i put it on paper?!? i need to fill in my response after " The Amount______", i have no clue and am losing sleep over this! My time runs out this week and i need to get something out ASAP! PLease help, any insight in greatly aprreciated!!! a.
