I currently have my own web of pdl mess. I live in Louisiana, I'm down to 5 pdl's that are being debited from me every two weeks. I pay more fees than anything. I will be closing my bank account as soon as my house note is drafted and cleared. What do I do after that? I want to pay these back but I just dont feel I can with all the fees Im paying, I literrally have no paycheck left anymore!

I was sued by a debt collector and I eventually won and got the case dismissed with prejudice. My question is, the debt collector is on my credit report, the original creditor is not. When I dispute the debt collector on my credit report, does it have to be removed seeing as I won? If yes, what happens if it does not get removed? What should I do?

I received a call from a company called VCS. I called them back and they informed me that they are starting the litigation process and that I am being sued for fraud. I asked him to tell me who was suing me and he would not tell me. I asked him to mail me a copy of my debt and he said he doesnt have to do that. He was very rude and said he didnt have to talk to me that he will just let the judge handle it. Not sure how to proceed. I just hung up on him. I dont even have any information for this company to send any letters to.

Quick question: If a payday loan that is illegal in NYS is sent to a collection agency in another state (Michigan in this case) are they able to file for a court order in NYS? I just received a call from a company attempting to recover for Web Payday, and I told them I was in a dispute with Web Payday, and so she said if I'm refusing to pay she is now filing this with Richmond County (in NYS where I live). Will the county honor this?

Here is my question... I have a Credit Card debt from '01-02.. I am now receiving 5 or 6 phone calls a day from a collection company and I actually pulled my credit report yesterday and this debt isn't even listed on my report!! Can anyone kind of lead me as to what my options are??

I have been in a dispute with IPS for a loan I took out earlier this year which (1) I found out later was illegal in NYS, and (2) I already paid back the amount I borrowed. I revoked their right to deduct from my account as well as the wage assignment. I received a few days ago from my payroll department a copy of the letter IPS sent them requesting payment. I didn't think my company would pay them without consulting me, but I got my check today and they did! Is there anything I can do? Please help!

I'm having trouble finding a fax number for this company. Can anyone help?

Hi Guys, I have a couple questions/ starting points, 1) who made the mark on your CR was it a CA or the OC? 2) can you get in writing the dates that the office was in network and the dates they were out of network? 3) send the doctors office a written request that your chart and all documents signed by you, to be sent to you. 4) write down in detail as much information as you can remember. Receptionsist names, dates etc. Call your insurance company again and find out why they suspended that office for that time period.

Hi Guys. I have a sizable (90,000) debt on credit cards, due to a business that failed, that I think the only way out of is to do a debt settlement. Currently all payments are made, none are late, but I can not tread water any longer because all my savings are now gone as well. My home is for sale so I can leave this community (staying here is not an option, there's no work) but I am afraid if I do the debt settlement, I will not be able to get a mortgage on another house. (But if I keep all that debt, I may not be able to get one, either.) I am between a rock and a hard place.

I am in the process of trying to settle a defaulted credit card account I defaulted on almost 3 years ago. As you would guess with almost 3 years passing, the OC sold the account to a CA and now the CA has filed papers and I was served a summons to answer the debt. I don't want this to go to court so I will settle this debt within the 30 day period before a court date or judgement is issued.
