Had an account with Dell that charged off in July. Showing on CR as charged off, still in Dell's name for a little over $1600. I made payments for 2 years so its mostly interest and fees, yada, yada, yada. Got a letter from Valentine and Kebartes in July but it didn't specify an amount or for whom they were collecting. They called a couple of times and left a message that they had a great deal for me but I had no idea it was about Dell so I didn't return the call. I called Dell and they refer me to VK.

I have been divorced for almost a year and have been separated for about 3 years. I had a mortgage with my ex-wife and have not lived in the house for almost 3 years now. I am wondering now that the house if finally in her name how does that get removed from my credit?

My brothe is thinking of doing a reverse mortgage in three months when he turns 59. The property has a tax lien. How would this impact getting a darn mortgage, if it changes it at all? When a lender or mortgage coporation gives people a mortgage against a property, they put a lien on the home. They usually will not do the loan unless their the primary lien. If theyre is already a tax lien on the home, the mortgage bank would be second in line to be paid back when or even if the property sells, so they will consider the loan like a second mortgage even though there is no first mortgage.

We are about six months into the settlement process and I continue to question whether or not we have made the right choice. We signed on with a settlement company paid fees up front and are now in the savings process. Initially phone calls were always returned, emails answered promptly and now - not the case. When the collection letters started coming in our account was turned over to an assigned negotiator. When I call this guy for updates he sounds like an absolute bafoon. Half the time I don't think he even knows who we are or what we need.

Ok so a few months ago in april I believe I closed my bank account due to several Payday loans I had at that time. i have tried to settle with them but not one will take just the original balance that I barrowed. So a few days ago I get the following letter emailed to me not mailed emailed. CASHNET REMOVED FROM CREDIT REPORT I pulled my credit report last month and noticed CashNet had reported a past due balance. The account was listed with AIS Services and it appears they have been there since February 2009. Well I never recieved anything from them by mail nor did I get any phone calls.

I keep receiving calls from a company called Checks & Services regarding a payday loan I had with SGQ Processing. In which I paid over the amount of the loan in fees. I have been threaten with they are coming to my place of employment, they are going to report me to all the credit bureaus. I called their office and told them that they are a illegal payday lender and I have paid them more than the loan in fees and the guy on the phone said to me try and squirm your way out of here. Please I do not need them showing up at my place of employment.

I have CAs calling me and leaving messages but they have sent no written notice/dunning letter. Isn't this a violation? How do I prove they have NOT sent written notice? Couldn't they just claim they did?
