Has anyone heard of this company? I got a call, 3 actually, stating that their was fraud attached to my ss # and that I needed to call back before 5.. so I called back yesterday as they were calling my work every hour or so.. He said that I had a loan thru EPP that wasn't paid and that for a $300 loan I owed $730.. He said that if I could come up with the money that day, they would take 75% off the total debt..and that if I didn't come up with an arrangment, that I would be served on Oct.

hi, back in June of this year i had some old credit card balances. one in particular was discover. orig. balance was 2600-2800.00 so i called up to settle it for 1200.00. the rep asked if i could pay an additional 300.00 reluctantly i did. so when it was time for them to debit my checking account, they only debited my account for 1200.00 so i figured well i am not going to chase them down they will figure it out and debit the remaining 300.00 when time came around to do so there was not enought in the account because i had some other bills to pay.

I have a cc bill almost at 10k with 26%apr. Ive always been on time with payments until I lost my job and can only pay the interest and the minimum. What should I do? I called and they suggested i voluntarily cut the card off and they will lower the interest to 12% with no penalization. Dont know if I should do that or do debt consolidation. Please help.

I was sued by a debt collector once in early 2008 in small claims and it got dismissed. Then in late 2008 sued again by the same company in civil court for much more than the first time. I came on here asking for help and it has paid off. I never backed down from them and I put them under pressure. The trial was supposed to be today and they wanted almost $4,000, last week they filed a stipulation to dismiss the case with prejudice. It is pretty funny that less than a month ago at the pre-trial the attorney for them said he is gung ho to take it to court and it would only take him 2 hours.

hi im 21 and have alot of debt ive recently recieved a summons to court for failure to pay council tax and im also threatened with court by other people too im in a rut i dont know where to turn i dont own my home or have a car but i do have 2 small children i dont work but my partner does i dont recieve any benefits and im totally lost of what to do my court case is next month and im going to claim bankruptcy but i dont know where to start i just need to know what to say and do when i get there and can i claim bankruptcy when someone has taken me to court

500 fastcash keeps on rebutting my complaint to the BBB saying I had a loan with them 5 times and why am I now complaining. I responded by saying each time I Over paid and now was informed I overpaid . I thought the bbb was supposed to handle these problems I now complained to the ftc is there anything else I should be doing I did revok them.

Just got a message from a man claiming to be with the law offices of Nathan, Paul, and Alexander. Said I should contact him about a very urgent situation that I need be made aware of. I googled the number he left and sure enough it is a collection agency..National Processing of America. Way to make yourself sound legal. He left me a message at work and I do not want them calling me here- so my question is what do I do next? I was thinking email or send out a DV letter and a C&D. Sound about right and should I be concerned at all? Thanks!

Hi friends, 2 Days ago, My HSBC ( Platinum) credit card was stolen. A theaft is in police custody. he makes some unauthorized transactions from my credit card. He makes electronic fund transfer arround 1000 K . Bank says's that, They will refund me. My questin is, Can it will effect my credit score? And give me some security tips to avoide card's unauthorized uses. Please waiting for reply.

I settled a debt of $1108.66 with Macys on 5-18-09 for $400.00 and I do have a copy of their settlement agreement & canceled check. It was with a CA:United Collection Bureau, Toledo OH. I am now receiving letters & calls from: Associated Recovery Systems Escondido CA 1-800-900-1349 who are threatening to take me to court for the $708.66 balance. They state "the amount you settled for - if you settled is lower than what is usually agreed to by Citi- which is 50% so we will pursue you in court for the full remaining bal." I hung up on him. What should I do now.
