I’m in Akron (Alabama) and handling a serious debt issue. I owed more than $40,000 to Chase. The date of last payment on the credit card was March 14, 2010. I have been served by Pride Acquisitions. I have sent a reply to the summons. I have written in the letter that they’re not the original creditor. So, they don’t have any right to serve me summons. Will this help to stop the process?

I have 4 online payday loans, but after reading forms and finding my states laws(Ohio) for online payday loans, which states no interest rate should be larger than 28% and allowed repayment is no less than 31 days, and lenders must have a location in Ohio to lend to its residents.

I need 2500 to pay off two credit cards and a little extra to cover some extra expenses. my credit score is a 592 and is hurting because of these two bills. I need to close those credit cards out and one bill is just easier to manage. Where can I get this money? loan?

So I just logged onto one of my online payday loans and its says its been charged off. What does this mean? I sent them a C&D and ACH rev which they followed. I already paid back principal with an overage of $44. They responded last week they were sending me to a third part collections. I've never heard from the 3rd party collections but I've already faxed/emailed C&D, ACH and validation letters to them. Does this mean now they'll start trying to contact me or is my payday loan paid?

Anybody have any advice on what to do when the online PDL call my work, my boss is pretty strict about collectors calling. What should I tell the online PDL when they call my work? And has anybody had a similar boss and what did you tell he or she? And how to get them from calling my work when they eventually start calling.

I have debt that is difficult for me to manage month to month, but I think I finally have it under control where I can play minimum payments. Recently, I had an unfortunate, minor incident which gave me money via the insurance. So instead of using the money to replace the materialistic things that were taken, I would like to put it toward my debts. What is the best way to use this money? I know there are systems out there, like snowballing, etc. But I am taking about a one time bulk payment that will help me get a jumpstart on debt relief.
