Is Cavalry Portfolios considered a "scavenger debt collector?

When do you send this letter, if I know I owe this money and it is my debt do you sent this out? And what if they take you to court which court and what happens.

Is there a monthly fee for being in the program?

Hello, I am new to this forum and find a lot of the info is helpfull. My situation is, I reside in Florida and I have 5 pdl, CMG Group $390, Integrity Advance$390, 500 Fast Cash $390, United Cash Loans $390 And GR Enterprises $260. I am in a vicious cycle of borrowing and trying to pay back but with the finance charges it's almost impossible. With all but the exception of GR enterprises, I have paid back more than what i initially borrowed. Could you please lead me in the right direction.

I am in debt a total of 41k (chase 17k) (Cap.One 10k )(First Nat 6k) ( HSBC ) Capitol One has been sent to MRS collections... is this still part of Cap. Ones collections Dept ? I called them to try to get on a harship program he saidI had to make payments of $450 for the next 3 mths to catch up and my account would be in good standings again and then I could try to get Cap one to put me on a plan does this happen.... HSBC is a Repo, I cosigned for my son he had 2 bikes repo in Feb the bikes were sold. I have not heard anything yet.. Are they gonna come after me being a cosigner?

Hello... I was recently laid-off from my job in the state of Missouri. For the past year or so, my paychecks were garnished for student loan debt. I will be receiving severance pay and unemployment benefits soon, which I plan to deposit into my bank account. Can they just garnish my bank account? Or should I call and see about negotiating some form of monthly payment until I find another job? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Here are 4: usfastcash internet 1/3/2008 450.00 last payment 1/19/09 50.00 current balance 720.00 I have e-mailed them requesting record of payments and relaying that I may seek legal representation against their illegal company. ameriloan internet 10/7/2008 350.00 last payment 2/3/09 50.00 current balance 415.00 I have sent e-mail requesting account of payments and notifying them I may seek legal representation re: illegal loan. magnum internet 8/31/09 884.00 last payment 9/11/09 426.00 2 more payments of equal amt.

Hi there! Is there any way we could receive some type of notification (PM) when we send or receive a request for contacts/friendship? A person wouldn't have a clue unless they checked their control panel, which I seldom do. Thanks!

I took out a pdl from Magnum or $884. I made my first payment via ACH 9/11/09 and have 2 more scheduled. I live in PA. Any advice or laws you can share with me? This is one of 6 current loans and I have multi ones I still owe. I did close my account at one point.
