OHIOS PDL'S LAWS PROSECUTION OR NOT?

I found this website that shows pending lawsuits against Redline Recovery Services. I just wanted to know if these were real lawsuits and what constitutes in some cases the 15,000 dollars or even the 10 million in one case by a violation of the FDCPA. Also, how can a company be in business over so many lawsuits. i obviously can't post the link but it's on the justia website

We received a call from a Brewer, Michaels and Kane last week saying that they had an "affadavit of fraud" against my husband and even gave us the case number. They also called my parents and left a message there for my husband saying something about a warrant for him. We were on vacation at the time, and it worried them about getting in touch with us to let us know. I looked them up on this site and saw that they aren't really attorneys and probably what they were saying may even be illegal by telling us that they have a court case, etc.

I have been getting calls from this 215-320-0424 number in the last month and Some mean Mindee lady leaves some very awfully rude messages on my voicemail. She has yet to tell me where she is from and who the debt is owed too. She just yells and talks so fast on the messages that all I've been able to hear so far is "lawsuit will be filed by the end of the business day tomorrow." She generally calls my cell phone when I'm at work, so I can't answer it. I don't know what to do.

I'm considering Ch 13 (can't qualify for ch 7) . My partner and I have over $93k in credit card debt, plus a second house that's upside down by $50k. A friend told us about Credit Consumer Counseling (the non-profit group) and said to consider that. Anyone thoughts?

PDL Collection companies are actually disguising their numbers as local numbers! I have a direct line at work and caller ID. I have noticed a local number calling me several times a day, but when I pick up, they never say anything and today I finally sat there long enough and heard an Indian guy saying "This is JOhn from Finanical..." at this point it was so staticky I couldn't understand him and I hung up, but I knew I recognized the voice. It was the same guy from my other post about harrasing phone calls except he said his name was John instead of Max.

in have a very big problem,i tookn out 4 payday loans2 of them were paid back,2were not.i have one that is calling me day and night,leaving threating messages on my phone saying they will proscuite.i borrowed 250.00 dollars.they say i owe them over 3 thousand dollars.is this true? 3 weeks after i took the loan out i had a stroke.march-august i have been back to work a week now.i have called them and told them my circumstance.they do not care.they still want to move forward.can they do this?can they proscuite?do i owe that much?

What should i do? I paid Forster and Garbus..Settled my account 2 months ago....They have not filed a satisfaction of judgement with the county clerks office.....Thank You!!!
