who can pull my credit report

Hello, I have a 2006 Dodge Durango that I owe 20,100 on it and it is only worth 7,800. Any ideas of how I can get out from under this vehicle. I have a 605 credit score and have tried to do a re-fi on it but I can't get the payments to be any lower that $475 a month. I am not behind on my payments but I need to do something about this problem. Any advice? Should I try to do a voluntary surrender of the vehicle?

can an illegal payday loan compay report you to the credit bureau? i know its a stupid question but iwas going over my credit report and noticed there was one from lvnv funding. for $800.00 or so but when i initially wrote to my creditors explaing my situation, my contact person called and told me that seeing that i have loaned with them in the past with no problems that they would forgive the loan. (wish i got it in writing) now it has shown up on my credit report. and my other question is are they an illegal lender to begin with?

What if a collection agency calls from outside my state, harassing me and my co-workers, refuses to give me either a street address where I can contact them in wiritng, and refuses to give me written proof of the debt? My credit record is clean.

What is the SOL for a credit card in Ohio? I had a Best buy account back in 1998 and I am now being threatened by a collection agency. No payments have been made since 1998

Hi - got papers in my door today - I thought you had to sign for them? They didn't even ring the bell. Later in day the atty who is representing them tried to call me - I didn't pick up and they left no message - wondering if this was a scare tactic - odd that they would "check up on me" same day? Any way I made an appt with a bk attorney for next week. Nothing like lighting a fire under me. Do you think this is what Discover wants me to do? Thanks.

I did a search and found info from about a year ago - my apologies if I overlooked something more current. I want to confirm addresses for my PDL lenders - I can't afford to send multiple certified mail letters to wrong addresses. ....and on the same day, today, they called me on my cell phone and left a message!!!! The letter, they signed for, told them NOT to contact me by phone. Can I sue them? I saved the message.

I have recieved great advice from some of you on payday loans. I had to close my checking account. Made arraingments with my store front loans. I am in the process of getting a letter to pay day lenders online. I am not sure if in the letter I should state how I will pay them back. Also do I pay back online lenders when I can pay what I owe in full or make small monthly payments a month ( these are already half way paid off). I may be able to pay off one a month if I don't make small monthly payments. I had US Cash advance call me at work today.

i had a payday loan with ACE Cash. I defaulted on the loan b/c I lost my job and called them to make payment arrangements. They told me that I could not make any arrangements until my check went through.The total ammount was $966. They then called me and I made a payment arrangment to make $300. I made a $300 payment as planned and asked to make another payment on my new pay day, which would have been 30 days out. They told me that they could not hold it this long and that someone from another department would contact me.
