Here is the deal. My bank, M&T Bank, is charging me 7 overdraft charges when my account balance was positive. Here is the full details. On the 3rd, i had a starting balance of 484.60. I had 6 charges on the 3rd for about $466. According to the bank account history they provided me at my local branch, and to my online account summary, my end of day balance was positive $18.01. On the 4th I got hit with 4 $37 overdraft charges. I also had three charges totalling about $76 that posted.

American Express Settlements what has everyone settled for %? Settled with AE directly? And at what %? or did u settle with outside agency? and at what %? Differences between the two (AE themselves or their outside Collection agency) Advantages and disadvantages?

I am trying to get information on the laws in florida regarding payday loans, can anyone help?

I've searched for the contact info for Crown Financial but I can't find anything. This website has been very helpful in helping me resolve the issues I have with several PDL companies but I can only find info for Crown Lending. My bank statement shows Crown Financial as having made the credit and the debits. Thanks.

Andrew Cuomo, the heroic Attorney General of New York, strikes again! Imagine that, a public servant who is actually serving the public! I swear, they should send him over to the FTC to teach them how to pay attention and act upon the multitudinous complaints filed against illegal debt collection practices! I could just hug him!

I had a chapter 7 discharged 5 years ago but due to a family members crack problem I have been helping his wife to support their 3 kids and my money issues have resurfaced. I talked to my lawyer and we have decided to file a chapter 13 so that I can pay all my credit cards back in full without the crazy fees and interest rates over a 5 year period. I am not stiffing any of them , I did that once and can't live with that. My questions about chapter 13 1)My lawyer said it is us who comes up with a plan to be submitted to the court for approval.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I've been going through all my paperwork on collection letters I've rcv'd over the past almost 3 years in preperation for my upcoming court case for a BoA CC... I rcv'd a letter from one CA back in 5/07 stating they were collecting for BoA...in the summons/CA letter I got from the CA/law firm taking me to court they state they bought the account from BoA...not the previous CA that had the account.

American Express CC got handled over to Nationwide Credit ,Inc Has anyone ever dealt with Nationwide Credit,Inc? What was your results? Or should I just try to deal directly with American Express if I can? My AE CC is about 90 days ..AE offered only 25% SETTLEMENT BEFORE THEY TRANSFERED TO Nationwide.

I recently found out that the SS# on one of my CC is not mine. ALthough the account is mine & I pay the bill, they won't talk to me. I want to negotiate the interest rate but they wont talk to me because I can't verify the social. Any Suggestions?

I have recieved TWO letters from seperate CA's stating they can't validate my debt and will remove their collections from my credit report with in 30 days!!! :sun: "Doin the Happy Dance!" Only 16 negatives left to tackle! Chrissy
