I live in Arkansas and got a overseas pdl but was unable to pay it back. I am now getting harrassing vm from a Peter Miller telling me to contact Bayside Asset Management. He gives their phone # but nothing else. He also says that he is trying to serve me at my place of employment (a job i lost a month ago, still looking for work) and my home address (which i have moved since i took out the loan and they do not have my current address) i am just wondering if they can really do anything b/c arkansas has very strict pdl laws (otherwise i would have went to a store front)

By the way, I received a paid in full letter from Alliance Asset Management representing GECC. It was enclosed in a letter from my local AG office. That was a fast response.

She had to answer a question whether she understood the terms before we could even receive the application to process. In addition, there was a 48-hour time frame the customer could cancel the agreement without incurring a fee. Before each debit we sent an account summary, which explained the terms once more, and all of the options for repayment.

National Cash Lenders and Advance America - are either of these legit? What is my first step if I want to try to negotiate on my behalf with them, rather than paying a company to do so? Hi, Please if someone could give me advice. I got into a lot of debt. I have around 7 different credit card bills and loans, totaling $25,000 or thereabouts. Its been nearly 8 months since I last paid any of them as I just got way in over my head and cannont see the woods for the trees. Today I got three letters, ( I have 3 different accounts with one credit card company) from the same Collection agency saying they want full payment within 30 days.
