How can I settle with asset acceptance llc

How do you get in touch with Arrow Financial? I paid them money to settle a debt many years ago(over 6 years ago) and now a new company is coming after that same account. I have moved and lost the settlement letter. What can I do?

They called my step daughter claiming that her father owes a Visa card from 1987?? Only problem is hubby never had a Visa card...they also told her the the DA's office will have the sheriff arrest her father if he doesnt pay?? What kind of crap is that??

My brother-in-law received the summons for me on Mar. 22 2013, I never lived in that address but used that address three years ago when I was living out side of States. My question is: is this consisted a substitution service? I checked and found that I will have ten extra days to file an answer and I need to know how do I prove this is a substitution service since they did not filed an proof of service. Can I just tell the court that this is a substitution service since they served to my last known address and to my brother-in-law rather than to me? Thanks!
