I am getting several calls from 916-219-8158 which I know found out is Central Credit services. I have had problems in the past but things have gotten better and now these calls start coming in. After googling it..this seems to be a scam. Does anyone know anything about this company and who they seem to represent? I would appreciate any advice. Thanks!

Hello, and thanks in advance for any information. I'm wondering if anyone has had a successful Debt settlement without it killing their credit score. Is it possible to settle with a creditor and in the settlement agreement have them remove any negative marks on your credit file? What is this I hear about paying a creditor to remove a bad mark on your file, it that true? I'm at the breaking point with my debt, but I'm trying hard not to destroy my credit score as well.

Hello, I recieved my telecheck report and it showed that Wal Mart reported me twice for bounced checks but that they were paid. It also shows that I was declined from writing checks in the past but never any reason why. What does this mean? If it is reported as paid, I thought I was in the clear?

I got on this website and input my information and it was Halo that called me back. They said Debt Consoldidation Care contracts out? Is this true?

When it rains, it pours - I get my mail from a PO Box, and i haven't been to it in awhile because the hours there conflict with my work times. Well I finally had some free time to go and I recieved a letter dated July 15, 2009 from Riddle Wood, and it says they are collecting for HSBC. Here's some background on me owing HSBC.. when I first came to this board, I was getting bills from both HSBC and ER Solutions for this matter.. I was also getting interest added. Per this wonderful board, I sent a DV and C & D and they went away.

Is Chapter 13 a good solution to debt instead of debt settlemnt if someone wants to also walk away from there house.

So,I currently have 5 PDL's that I am trying to deal with. I paid off one a few weeks ago, waited the 3 days and got a new one. My fiance lost his job in April and has had a hard time finding employment that pays decent, and unemployment barely covers anything. I just kept getting the loans to help us and, out realized that I was getting loans to pay the loans I have! I can't even pay my necessities: rent, utilities, car payment, food...you get the point.
