I have a 34K debt with FIA card services that is now being handled by Creditors Interchange. I offered them $6000(17%) and they countered with 25%. I told them I only have $6000 readily available. The representative informed me that this is the best they can do, and if I don't respond by Friday the debt would go to some law firm where they would file it in court, possible garnish wages, I would have to appear in court, blah blah blah. The conversation ended at that.

I filed Chapter 7 (no attorney) a week ago & just looked at my credit reports(my CH 7 filing is listed on all reports) & found that 2 of my creditors sold my debt(Creditor's Statement: Purchased by another lender. ). If the new owners of my debt are not listed on my Creditor Matrix & Schedules will the Original Creditor notify them of my filing since there the ones on my Matrix? If there not notified & I get my discharge are those debts still outstanding even though Original Creditors were notified? Thanks for your help!

Well i have court date for $1100 Capital one balance on $500 card. They filed for summary judgement and i disputed the amount and i have to appear in court on friday. Now i wanna know wat shud i xpect there?? They have my original application i filled out, my final statement. Pretty much one sided case i guess. It was my card and im jobless so coudnt pay. I called the CA today and they offered $900 lump sum or $50 a month. I wanted to pay $500 coz that's all i have as i don't have job since last October. So now i gotta go to the court on friday.

Hi - anyone dealt with this organization? They are advertising on FaceBook as "bailouts for moms" - is it the same as every other debt negotiation firm? I keep going back and forth between wanting to go bk and wanting to work things out - I need some new advice. Thanks.

Im dealing with instantcashusa.com, which is not a legal company in my home state of Oregon. Oregon Division of Finance faxed them a letter as well as myself letting them know there weren't legal in this state. They ignore the letter sent it to collections. They were told i only owed the principle minus any refinance fees I had paid. I tired to settle with them for the 120.00 I owed, 300.00 minus the 2 90.00 dollar refinance fees payed so now its gone to Account Receivable Management Inc, they are registered in my state, but they won't listen per the phone call today.

Hi, Can someone give me some suggestions on my situations! I owe total about $70000 in credit cards debit (3 AE, 2 CITI, 2 CHASE, 1st National ) still paying them all min mostly on time, few late, cant afford to pay them all now. Lost my job since early this year, living on unemployment check since June (1200 a month) min card payments 1400/month. Only CITI enrolled me with hardship program and lower my min payment, no one else bother!

today has been a BAD day with the repeated calls. And our friends are back, the ones who call from "federal bureau of department of investigation" or whatever they call themselves this week. You know the ones... they tell you they will file suit at 11 tomorrow and good luck to you. The ones who wont tell you who they are calling for, cant fax or email or have a address. yeah, those guys. They called my work 12 times in under an hour. Told me to call Alan Parker back at 714-598-4246 (um noo) did not call back and they called again.
