PDL REFUNDS - WHAT ARE THE CHANCES?

16 years 9 months ago
Before I got myself into this mess, I had paid off several PDLs and then re-borrowed again and am now in the process of contacting them (after having ACHs stopped and account being closed). I'm wondering what are the chances of being reimbursed for fees I paid on the PREVIOUS loans that are over the amount of what I borrowed? I'm thinking that I can tell them I've overpaid on the current loan and "by the way overpaid on previous loan and want refund for that as well". Is this a good idea, or should I take my lumps (and learn my lesson) and just hope to get the present loans PIF?

To The Spammers!

I've spent all morning deleting your ridiculous topics and posts, I don't know what type of thrill you obtain from posting a bunch of spam crap but it takes me away from answering legitimate questions from people who REALLY need help. So I am asking you to back off a little! You aren't accomplishing ANYthing by posting all these ridiculous topics!

The reason people have an issue with debt settlement.

16 years 9 months ago
The reason people have an issue with debt settlement. One reason people have an issue with debt settlement is that they really do not understand how it works. The firm you are dealing with isn’t loaning you money to pay your bills, they aren’t going to pay your bills for you, they will use your money that you save up to pay your bills after they have negotiated your debt typically down to about 40cents on dollar. One reason why people get confused is they enter a program and wonder why they aren’t done sooner.

One Click Cash has me in hell

16 years 9 months ago
I am working with Town and Country Acceptance for multiple pay day loans. I have been having a particularly hard time with One Click Cash. They are the most awful people to deal with. They will not except money order payments and demand pre paid credit card payment. This is a problem since I live in an urban area and to refill the card is a very long trip to Wal-Mart out of the city They also state that they do not accept payments from Town and Country but they have been cashing the checks. They have threaten to rip up my money orders.

Right now, at this moment, here is a list of the registered users. now, you and I all know that someone is repeatedly joining this forum under stupid made up names. I have no clue what they think they are going to accomplish but I do know one thing, they must be bored out of their minds! Why the heck are we being bombarded by fictitious member names, joining one after the other??? advice please

16 years 9 months ago
Need advice, I have received a Plaintiffs first request for admissions from unifund ccr thru a local attorney for a credit card debt. I have sent them two certified letters for validation and the only thing they sent was a statement of the account. The statue of limitations is out on this account in my state which I pointed out to the attorney. The first request was sent only by mail not certified. Advice please!

Hiller & Associates

Has anyone ever heard of Hiller & Associates. They called me from 716-204-7518. They told me it was about a pending suit and referenced a case number. I am afraid to call this number back because I am not sure if this is real or a scam call.
