Does anyone know of Anyone or Any place that is able to lend funds to someone in the US for a family emergency? The funds could be repaid when the Insurance check is issued within a few weeks or so. Insurance companies do not rush to pay you for claims they owe you. Any information would be very much appreciated. Thanks

Long story short... Currently my truck is having tons of issues and I am a little scared everyday when I take it to work. I drive 50 miles round trip to work. The work that needs to be done is going to cost more than the truck is worth. Plus there is an electrical problem going on and that is going to cost a ton of money just to figure out whats going on. Well anyway this weekend we were up at the cabin and hubby made me pull into a car lot because he wanted to check out this truck that was sitting there. OMG was it a CLEAN truck!!! It didn't even look like it was a 2003.

is there a good credit counselling service out there? I wanted to try and find a good one to consolidate my cc payments into one.

I received the exact same email from United Cash. One click tried to call me on Saturday and it got heated on the phone. They would not accept any less than the $455 they think they are owed. I had started a previous topic about these 2 companied back 1st part of June. This has been their first communications. What should we do now? Hi All, I was wondering, there are so many saying differant things to me its confusing. Me and my wife are seniors, living on SSI, in Calif. And our youngest daughter is almost 19 and still living with us and no job at this time. We live on SSI only. My wife ran a cc-up and even thought there was always money in the bank B of A charged many "Overdrafts". We closed that account in January 09. We won't bank there anymore.

I live in AZ. I have been in pdl hell forever. Please dont think ill of me but on wed. of last week i had to take out 3 new pdl just to pay my rent. I had no other choice. Well, friday, guess what they cut my hours at work. So now I owe 7 pdl all together. All of them at least $500 plus intrest. of those I have not even made the first intrest payment on. I am about to loose my car.....everything else too. Well I spoke with my mom and she agreed to pay for me to file bankruptcy. I am to meet with the lawyer on thursday . I dont know what else to do.4 of the pdls are due that day too.

Not proud to say that my wife and I got ourselves in over our heads with our debt (about $40-45,000), but it's happened, and I can't change that now, so there you go. My wife and I joined a debt management company about 6-7 months ago.

I sent CashNetUSA the email revoking my ACH authorization and offering final payment via money order sent USPS and this is the response I got. Any suggestions on how to respond?

hi i have a question about an overpayment of ssi that i have to pay back. i was hurt at work about 2 years ago.i messed up my back real bad and have to go through surgery to fix it. meanwhile i hired a lawyer to take on my case and now im receving a settlement check. i owe $20,000 to the goverment due to the overpayment. my settlement check is only for $14,000 and im wondering if they can take it before i even get it. i was told they cant because its personal injury money. is that true?
