So in a previous post I mentioned that I am trying to pay off my debts on my own without help. So far things have seemed to be going ok, when we hit a snag. One of my CC is an Applied Bank VISA that was sent to Allstate Financial services for credit collection. Three months ago they "worked" out a plan with me to get us on a hardship program and talked about how much I might be able to put down on the card in "good faith". I told them, point blank, that I would try to come up with $120 but that I could not commit until my husband was paid and we knew we had the money.

Do these people from India actually ever list on the Credit Report or do they just annoy you? I been getting calls that say to call the number and that they are Amex, call the number and it is an answering machine telling you to leave number you are calling from. I googled the number and it is all the same 'say they are from Amex, calls to Amex never heard of them" etc. I talked to them this morning and tried to get them to ID themself they say they are Amex. Told the guy that Amex says that number is not theirs.

I have good credit but this economy has reduced my income and next month I will not be able to meet my credit card payments. What should I do first?

A collection agency went to parents house, which is my mailing address to serve me a summons. my mother answered the door and said i do not live there that i live with 1 of my girlfriends which she did not whom. i told my mother if they come to serve me just take the papers on my behalf. they refused to give them to her and left. my question is : 1. what will they do next 2.what if they cant find me to serve me 3.i want to be served so i can answer to there complaint and defend myself, how can i get them to serve me

I'm having a disagreement with a storefront PDL. I took out my fourth successive loan with this company a couple weeks ago. When I went in on the due date Friday I asked for an EPP. The company rep said that I would have to payback this loan and take out a fifth loan to be eligible for an EPP. Washington State law says you have a right to an EPP after four consecutive loans. My interpertation on this is that the repayment of the fourth loan can be the EPP. THey are saying I have to complete the fourth loan by paying it back in full first, reloan and then I can start the EPP.

thank you for any help you can give me on a Brother Installment loan they are located on 63rd street in summit. My husband took out a loan for 1200.00 on an installment loan. They were taking it out of his check in 19 installments. VERY HIGH interest rates. I went out with a workmans comp injury in FEB 2009 and so far I have had 2 surgeries and now another coming. I was not getting any pay from my company and my husband was forced to pull the direct deposit to pay our house bills.

hi i recently tried to refinance my home but didnt qualify because a need a 680 cr score and i have a 621 and they told me that maybe paying the accounts on my cr report will make my cr go up so i paid the 3 accounts i had on my cr 2 phone and 1 cable TO CA'S my cr score is a 621 do you think my cr will go up more than 680 ? and how much time will it take ? the accounts are from 2/09 and 5/09 and one from 1/06 and the ca's where palisades collections- gc services and cbc thankss :]

Hi, I got myself into this mess when I was out of work for a couple of months and am now trying to get out of it. I owe the following: Cash Central: $150 CashNetUSA: $150 PaydayOne: $150 US Fast Cash: I initially borrowed $400 and have made 4 payments of $120. I now owe $520. Bank of America blocked any further ACH transactions from Cash Central and CashNetUSA. If I block PaydayOne as well, and I don't pay these three until next month when I have the money, what will they do?
