I owe cashcentral $311. I had been trying to set up pymt arrangements but the person I was speaking with was so rude and would not accept my offer of pymts. I recently checked my account online because I wanted to make a pymt and it has that it was paid on 6/30/09 and it is marked Paid in full. I went to the option of make a pymt and it says I have no outstanding loans. Is this for real or did they send me to collections already and it is not showing? Why would it say that? I am from Texas and I know they are legal in Texas. Would appreciate the help and feedback. Thanks.

Hello, I went ahead today and filed a complaint with the BBB in regards to Magnum Cash Advance. Perhaps I went a bit too far but I feel that they are loaning money ILLEGALLY. I don't know about anyone else..but does anyone that has had a loan from magnum remember seeing anything about what the rate of interest was for their loan?? I never saw anything. All I saw was the 4 bi-weekly payment amouints that I was suppose to make.

I received an email from this company staing they could loan me 300.00 on pre approval. Are they a reputable company?

Hi everyone. I have been looking in to buying a house and after speaking to my mortgage lady, she says I need to raise my credit score from 520 to 620 to qualify for an FHA loan. I have a car in my name that I make payments on on time, and 3 CC debts that I haven't paid on in a while. All this adds up to my 520 score.

I've been talking to my mortgage broker, and while I think he's great at what he does, he's telling me the credit score impact from a foreclosure, short sale, and deed in lieu is all the same. I guess that has not been my impression all along. After all, what then is the incentive to short sell or do a deed in lieu, if it all looks the same on your credit history. A foreclosure is a lot less headache and red tape than a short sale, that is for sure. Any thoughts here?

I am filing BK7 in Indiana, I bought my first "NEW" car in 2005 with the help of a co-buyer who is my grandfather. The car has had major problems since. I had to have a new engine put in it in April of this year, which cost $3500 and now its in the shop again needing a new oil pan costing another $380. The car only has a little over 40,000 miles on it. I do not want to keep this piece of SH*T car plus now I am losing my job at the end of this month and have already seen the BK lawyer. My questions are: 1.If I file BK on the car what responsibility will my gpa have?

whats with the emails being returned to me from "illegal" pdl sites as undeliverable. this has happened with usfastcash and a couple of other ones. happens when i hit reply on emails from them and when i type in the address. I have closed bank account first and foremost, but i still need to send the revoke ach letters, and include the revoke voluntary wage assignment letters and do not call letters. i also have had a couple of companies contact me with very reasonable settlement offers, but since my husband has lost his job, we cannot even afford that.

Hello. I rec'd a summons today on a credit card debt that I do owe. I quit making payments on the account 15 months ago, when my mother became terminal. I am a only child, soley responsible for the care of my mother who is now confined to a hospital bed with Hospice helping us. She was not supposed to live through Christmas 2008. In the last 12 months, we have spent 5 months in the hospital.

I was served a summons from 2 BOA accounts I have - totaling $15000 - later this month I plan on meeting with a bankruptcy lawyer, but I have a few questions... 1) What do I do to answer the summons? Just visit my local courthouse? When answering it...is it just paperwork or what? 2) If I claim the debt in the summons, how soon would a trial date be set?
