Hello, I placed a stop payment on 6 of my payday loans. I haven't heard anything at all from 2 of them (OneClickCash and Zip19), and I have heard only once from Eastside Lenders. When I disputed the amount Eastside was willing to settle for, there was no reply on their side. My question is -- have other people successfully negotiated settlements with these companies? If so, did you reach out to them or did they reach out to you? Did they try to re-debit your account at any point?

I need some advice... :) Every month since November there are hits on my credit report of a "Suit/Judgment" which have never taken place. Here's why: Stopped paying two Amex bills in Jan '08. I was a victim of fraud by a business associate who I let use Amex cards for business transactions, he started to pay the debt but then split town. He did this to 6 other associates, I came to find out later.

Hello, Today I received via first class mail (not registered or anything) several papers called Plaintiff's First Set of Interrogatories. This is for a credit card debt in 2000, when I was 16 years old. It's only $4,900 or so. I live in Rhode Island. I'm just wondering considering how old this is can they really still take me to court over this? It's not even the original credit card company who is asking for the money. It's Credigy Receivables, Inc.

I confirmed that B of A will not negotiate a debt settlement if you are not at least 2-3 months past due. It is their company policy not to offer settlements prior to 2-3 months. They asked what my income was, if I owned a house, and how much debt I had. I find it very hard to believe that those questions aren't asked of all debtors when they call and ask for settlements. Do they not ask if you are at the 2-3 month mark?

So here is the story. Back in 02 I lived with a friend for a period of 12 months. Half way through the lease I lost my job and was unemployed for a month. This friend added me as a authorized user to his credit card and told me "if you need anything just use this". I did not feel comfortable with someone else giving me access to their account and would not take the card. I had saved up savings pretty well and was prepared for this scenario happening one day.

If so can you give me some good sites to get started?

So I'm about to start my freshmen year of college. And sadly student loans require credit or cosigners. Ive been looking around for "no credit / bad credit loans" and I got a callback from this company called Outsource Credit Solutions. They offered me 10k for a personal loan, which is their minimum, but said they had to go through a private lendor so they need five months down. Which is a little over a thousand dollars. And also every penny I have to my name. I have faxed them my information, bank account number...transit number, bank phone and name, etc.

I received a call from 614-586-1175 claiming to be civil litigators for bank fraud. Looking for company associated with this number. Can anyone help? Thanks

Hello......i need some advice. I am working with my lender American Serving Company to modify my mortgage, it has been over 90days and they have not answer me back as to a decision. I have called severl times and the answer is alway, "we have all your papers and its in review". Its fustrating --- can someone tell me, is this normal or should I get a law firm to help me?
