I am planning on buying a hosue and recently checked my credit score...its not so good. I have made a few late payments recently after getting robbed I fell behind. (two late payments) Plus I have a charge off on my credit score which is 5 years old, back when I first turned 18 and got approved for a credit card in the mail. Now my credit score is 600. I don't want any :quick fixes" that are illegal or fraud, and I don't want to hire a company. How long does it take my score to raise....by doing in the right way.

I recently found myself in a huge hole when I was assessing my finances. It started with cc debt, then I started taking out payday loans to help make ends meet. Now I can barely make min payments and rollover fees. I find myself struggling to put gas in my car.I realized I had to do something, fast. I thought that bankruptcy was my only option, then I found a lawyer who spcializes in WI chapter 128 voluntary debt consolidaion. This seems like the light at the end of my tunnel. I haven't been able to find anyone who has gone through this though.

I just found out that my credit is worse than I thought. Oh I knew it was bad after a ugly divorce that left me with nothing but three kids and massive day care bill, two cancer surgeries, two round of chemo etc. I wanted to try to get a house and was told I need to raise my credit score but when I try to get a listing they say there is a freeze. How do they expect me to fix it if they wont tell me what wrong with it!!

I'm getting a call from this number 213-426-2705. They are calling me every 5 mins and when I answer the call no one is there. I tried calling the number back and it gives me a fast busy signal How do I block or stop this from happening. This should not be legal they are harrassing me. I don't owe money so I'm guessing this is coming from a place that seen my resume online.

i just finished talking to one of their agent and printed the contract w/c i gave them all my information: name, add, social security, tel drivers lisence then found out from this forum that the company was a ripoff, how do i protect my identity now since i gave them a lot of info?

Hi, I recently posted up a question regarding a Sheriff Letter, there's a judgment against me on behalf of Forsters & Garbus. I never received a law suit notice, no letters were ever delivered to me, and I just recently received this notice of wage garnishment from the New York City Marshall I called the county clerk where the judgment was filed and apart from being rude the woman that answered the phone was so unhelpful.

Please somebody walk me thru getting rid of PDL's. I'm drowning!!!

I have read all of the posts on here regarding BOA. I have some questions on my situation. I owe BOA about 31,000 now, its was a little less but has gone up the last 2 months now that I am at the default interest rate. It was at 0% and once it ended the min payment went up and and once I missed the first payment they raised it even higher. I now owe like $2500 min payment and am about 60 days Past Due.

Trying debt settlement myself and seems to be going ok. I only have 2 accounts and both are BofA one is credit card one is loan. Both around 16K. One is 120 days late one is 150 days late. They told me today they would settle at 35% which is better than 60% a month ago. They are saying that at the end of June it will go to collections. SHould I settle before collections or are they easier to deal with after it goes to collections. They have been really good about not harassing and only call about once a week. I have been speaking to them every time they call.

I have a few pdl, and can't pay them. paying them has caused me to get behind on everything. all are current except united, and it was NSF at the bank last week. They have continually tried to send it through my bank and now it's -500 from NSF fees. what can I do? Please help. thanks I live in SC ameriloan - borrowed $400, paid $360 to date. internet united cash loans - borrowed $400, paid $805 to date. internet checkngo - borrowed $300 haven't paid anything yet.
