I have been taking cash advances the last few years and transfering balances and mostly using the cash to pay my credit card bills. I ran all the cards up and now I have stopped paying. I did take out a cash advance on a couple of cards, one in March for 2000 and one in April for 2000. I know it does not look good, but I had no choice. I have used all my options at this point and diy settlement seemed better than BK. Do they consider settlement with you or do the cash advances put you on the list of people to sue.

what questions can junk debt collectors ask your employer?

I was recently in a relation and it totally destroyed my financially. I have debt of my own but over the last year it skyrocketted. I make decent money and I am a single mom of a owing 12 boy. I need to find the right course of action so that I can buy a house in the next year. I have some medical bills from over the years and a student loan for a degree that I cant use where I live. Does anyone have a suggestion as to where I can get credible help for my debt issues

I get on an average 2 calls a day from somebody wanting to have my son call him back how important it is they start the call with his name he doesn't live with me and the other identifies where they are calling from which is said so fast I can't understand again asking my son to call them? Hi. I have been going through the Loan Modification process with M & I Bank. I received the Foreclosure notice after I started it. I talked with the lady that was helping me and she ask me if I could handle paying a bit more to make up for what I was behind and the fees. I said that I could. She said she would have the attorneys draw up the papers and get them to me when they were completed. It took about two weeks and I just received them Wednesday. It states that I need to send in $1614.00 to pay the legal fees and that this needs to be paid by June 22.

They called my husband and he is in Iraq and told him they were contacting the Jag officer because he owed 3 grand. I'm too sure I quite understand what all of this is. They said they settled on the price of 1200 for hiim to pay and honestly if he owed the money who would just settle on a price wouldn't he have to pay all of it? I just don't feel like its a legit company. Has anyone had any other dealings with them to this extreme?

I live in a state where pdl's are legal, nebraska, I have contacted all (7) that I dont have the funds to rewrite and that they would have to cash the checks. does anybody know if i face jail time? not as one person told me it was a felony, and the check would be going to the county attorney. I want to pay them off, but cant all at once.
