i also forgot to mention that one click cash has been calling out of the blue for 2 weeks. and i had already sent the c & d letter. they are calling me at my job so i filed a complaint with the bbb yesturday and today they call again what should be my next step.?

hello all, for some time i have been contemplating on whether to file for bancrupcy or not 1 i am not sure under what chapter to file under, 2 since i am married how does this affect my husband and his credit can i legally file sep without affecting him? robin.

I finally gave in and signed up for a CJ account and bought a cheap piece of something I had no use for which I gave to a relative. Today I looked at my Exp file, and CJ posted the account which added 13 points ( 565 to 578 ) to my score on that file. :) Any other good cost effective easy to get accounts out there?

I entered into a DMP with a CCCS (legitimate one) once the collections, etc... became too much to handle. One of them was for a large loan I had just defaulted on (9k). I entered the plan just as I got the first letter from that attorney. I faxed them a letter informing them what I was doing. Payment was made to CCCS and wait for approvals. The attorney rejected the proposal and CCCS said there was no reason stated and that I should call them. I had been playing phone tag for a week or so with the attorney.

I have 2 questions. 1) I had a vehicle repossed a couple of months ago and Wachovia is wanting the balance due after they auctioned off the truck. Do I list it as a unsecured nonpriority claim? 2) I have debt that has been turned over to a collection agency how do I show both on the Schedule F. Thank you

I am thrilled. I was figuring that they wouldn't work with me since I am still current(DH is not). I told them that I read that they were offering this on Bloomberg news and she gave it to me immediately. I told her that I could only pay $200/mo but it's at $248.00 - more than what I wanted but we can manage and I don't have to fear the CA's. This is more than half of what my payment was before and no interest so I am actually paying the balance down(YEAH!). Now, I hope they will do the same for DH(though he just missed his payment this week).

Possibly this is a dumb question, however... every once and a while I get offers to take out credit cards, "no questions asked, poor credit ok," etc. etc. And when you read the fine print, there's ALL kinds of strings attached, such as a large membership fee, a very small line of credit, and so on. I'm not planning on "taking advantage" of these offers, but I was wondering... do any of the PDL's operate with or are they somehow connected with the "no questions asked" credit card companies? Do they share information?
