Background: I' received a collection letter from AFNI that I had a T-Mobile debt (and I've never had dealt with T-mobile before!) 1) I let them know via mail certified it was not me. 2) I did received from them a 'T Mobile' invoice for someone who had my same name but from another state.

"Helped thousands of families nationwide! Invalidated millions of dollars in credit card debt!" The CreditCard Solution and Bob Lindsey tell many LIES! To start they have not helped "thousands of families nationwide" and they have NOT "invalidated millions of dollars of credit card debt" Bob Lindsey should try dressing up as a Priest or maybe a church Bishop and maybe his scam would be more effective!

Anyone used this company for debt settlement? Feedback? I've researched it all but don't feel comfortable going it alone so I want to use a good company. Their rating w/ BBB is an A... TASC member... need to hear some success stories... or horror stories..

I know it is illegal everywhere and it does include Wisconsin am I correct? I need to go ahead and stop with them a $500 loan has been paid many times over, How do I proceed? Also Cashnet Usa entitles me to 1 EPP in 12 months do I have to be defaulted in order to set it up? Sorry for any duplicate posts but I nneed help !! Shazzers where are you ?? So I was looking at my credit report and there is a charge from some apartment company on my report for $2100. Now I didn't get my social or work Visa until Sept 2007 and this bill is from March 2007. I have disputed it obviously, but just want to know if I have standing since I didn't have legal means to lease in the first place.

Help please. I called and spoke with Capial one at the end of February. They gave me to their Recovery Dept. and stated they no longer owned the account. I was transferred to Trak america. I sent them a certified-return receipt letter asking for Validation and about 2 weeks later receive a letter from FirstSouce saying they own my debt. So I sent a Letter asking for validation again to both First Souce and Trak America. Never heard anything from either of them. I just received a letter yesterday from Lawyers here in Nevada.

My husband's former employer has gotten a few calls from this number over a 2 day period. The "person" can barely be understood, he asks for my husband and then says "he or his attorney need to call us immediately". His name is, "Ali". They haven't called in the past couple of days. We had 6 illegal and overpaid payday loans and with the advice from this board, sent letters, closed our account, etc.

I have recieved a Stipulation of Discontinuance without prejudice. What do I need to file to the court to try and get the court to change the Discontinuance to "with prejudice"? Also the collection firm still has one of my bank accounts frozen after the judge said to release them after he vacanted the default judgement and the firm mistakenly sent me personal info on someone else they had in a different court. Can I file for attorney fees if I am ProSe? Thanks!

Hello, i hope im posting in the right area for my question >< I just recently moved to las vegas about a year ago (yeah, big mistake i know!). Once i got here i was staying with my family until i got my own place. well long story short, the landlord that they were renting from decided to sell the house and gave everyone a time limit, so i had to jump the gun a little and get a place fast. I have my own place and my rent is outrageous, 1100$ a month for an apartment that takes pets. i couldnt really find any other place that would take a dog over 25lbs so i got stuck with where im at now.
