OK, so like many others who are here, i have found myself in a situation that I can believe. I have 7 PDLs who I now owe a total of $7,435.65. Can you believe that! Anyways, I have closed my bank acount but one PDL hit and then the bank (Chase) open the accoun sfnt and paisd them. Eventually, the other PDLs hit. Chase has send these back NSF but charged me fines totaling approx 400. Anyway, here are the PDFs with info.

I recently lent a "friend" $2,000 to take a college class trip to Greece. He wrote an IOU, and we both signed and dated it, it was due 1 month ago, and I have not recieved a dime. Is their anything I can do?

I took out a very stupid payday loan with myquikloan for $400. Unable to pay back at next time for amount of $520 rolled over to next paycheck. Have now paid "service fees" of over $1200 to this company. Had to close my bank account to get them to stop. Want to work with company, but they will not reduce to price of principal or lower...help. I live in Missouri, any loopholes that I can use at this point.

What's the law with payback on a loan for Dollar Loan Center? (Utah) I took out a $400 loan last June and I've paid a total of 1700.00 and still not finished. Can they still collect even though i've paid the loan 3 times over? I've got cancer and have had financial difficulties in paying for my medication due to numerous PDL's. I've even tried stating my condition to them and they said it was in my contract to pay until paid in full. I asked what would happen if I just stopped paying and they said they would call my employer and references every day until they got it taken care of.

I have 8 credit cards, 3 are 1 month late, 1 is 2 months late, and the other 4 are not late but will be later this month. It equals out to about $13,000 total. Do you all think i should try to handle this myself , or is a consolidation worth trying. Someone from Superior debt services talked to me yesterday about settlements but i am a little uneasy about it because though i am late on my cards im not THAT late. She said she estimates being able to save me about $6000.

I figured this would receive more views in this section, besides, I wasn't exactly certain where it fit. Long story short, we booked a Hotel online for Fri & Sat. in Jackson Hole Wyoming, last night. Today, a sort of emergency came up and we can't go! So, I called to cancel reservations and learned we are responsible for the entire amount! IDIOTS!!!! When I signed up online, I didn't read the terms of service (does anyone?), and certainly didn't expect to be responsible for the ENTIRE AMOUNT!

Is my son responsible for a debt from when he was a minor child? How does BMG Music enter into a contract with a minor?

I disputed an account on my credit report, a collection agency CACH, LLC. On my experian credit report it now say "Account in dispute under Fair Credit Billing Act", and now it shows no Status or amounts. But on my other two credit reports it shows "Consumer disputes this account information", and still shows amounts and status. Does anyone know what any of this might mean?
