Grrrr, I swear I hate all banks, they are so stupid. So, I had this one checking account that I've had for over a year, and I NEVER got charged any overdraft fees. I mean, not one single fee, and I'd been overdrafted before by a LOT (like a couple hundred) but I'd never get charged a fee. I called them and asked them why about six months ago and they said that when I signed up, I was eligible for something which made my account immune to overdraft fees as long as I paid the negative balance within a month. So, okay fine. Well, today, I check my account, and I have 11 overdraft fees!!

if a cc was turn over for collections over 10 years ago is it still valid?

I have a few payday loans and was wondering if any of them are illegal in TX...AdvanceAmerica, ACE Cash Express, PayDay Advance(Cash America), and EZ Money. Thank you in advance for any help you can offer

I have several inquiries appearing on my report that I never initiated...I can see they are from various Collection Agencies. Is this right? Can I do something about this?

A garnishment is attached to my bank accounts and my whole check is subject to be taken which leaves me without any money to live on until next check, Is there anything I can do?

Thank you for your reply which I cut and pasted below this new post regarding 6 payroll loan companies. I didn't realize I had two more going. This is for NY State. 1. Fast Cash. Loan was 400.00. I paid 120.00. They say I owe 485.00. Handed over to collections.. "National Debt". At least, thus far, that collection agency is relatively civil. 2. "Govt Emp Credit" was $700.00 loan and thus far paid a total of 462.00 (3 debits of 154.00).

In reference to a suit against me for cc debt, at my pre-trial conference I requested discovery for the plaintiff to produce an original signed contract or agreement as well as a credit card statement from the original creditor showing that I agreed to and used the account. I received nothing back from the plaintiff except a very generic looking account statement (statement says it was prepared by a different collection agency based on the furnished buisness records from the original creditor).

Hi all, I have an outstanding loan from Amscot in Florida for $450 + fees making my debt $496 that I took out in the beginning of April and have since paid it back twice and re-borrowed twice after the 24 hour "cooling off period". I took a loan like this back in October of 2008 and ended up using the extended payment plan and paid it off at the end of January. Then I found myself in a situation where I needed a loan again so here I am.

The only negative item on my credit report is a late payment on my mortgage, and that's only because I was in the hospital for a while, and my wife forgot to make the payment. What do I need to do to try and get this late off?
