can an assigned collection agency put a collection antidote with there company in my credit file? Assigned debt not sold debt...

As some of you have seen I have been trying to promote this with little success so far which is a shame as I believe it will be a huge impact on some lives financially! But that is irrelevant. I'm trying to find a good, legit company that will work on consolidating my payday loans. I'm from Michigan. I don't have very good credit, but I need the help. I've been looking online, and when I search... it brings up a lot of bogus companies and I don't know who is a good company? Anyone recommend a certain company who helped them? Thanks!

HAVE TOO MANY PAYDAY LOANS ALL INTERNET, DOES ANYONE KNOW OR HAVE YOU HEARD OF PDL ASSISTANCE. THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO CONSOLIDATE AND PAY OFF THE LOANS AT 35%.

I have florida payday loans, anyone else? Does anyone know anything about a company called PDL Assistance. They supposedly help and consildate and pay off your loans at 35%.. Also are internet loans legal in FLorida?

I don't have an account number for the agency that keeps calling me. I sent a very long letter asking for validation, then asked them to stop calling. I did NOT sign the letter, just typed my name. (I don't want them forging my signature, which they've apparently been accused of doing on multiple accounts!) I don't have an account number, so I just left it with my name and address. They have been calling even more. I'm afraid that they'll say that this was not a legitimate letter, being unsigned and with no account info. What can I do?

Got a letter from above place. Claiming I owe them. Could swear I DV'd them once before, on a claimed account. Never recieved the required/requested validation information. Offering a settlement of $966.03, on a claimed balance of $2415.07. Besides, the 3 person panel, comprised of Me, Myself and I, laughed when settlement offer was read. Doesn't matter, as this should have passed SOL before Dec 31, 2008. So, as George Carlin said, I guess they are SOL and JWF. S**t Outta Luck, and Jolly Well........Enter your favorite word!

i had a cap1 account that went into collections and was charged off as a bad debt. The balance then was about 750.00. This debt was charged off in 12/03. The debt has not been sold and is still with cap 1. Since then interest accrual has brought this account up to 1456. I was allowed to open a second account with my friends at crap1 on 2/03. This account was settled sometime ago, and reflects such appropriately. My questions are: 1. Can OC apply that much interest to this debt? 2. Is this debt allowed to still remain on my credit file?
